RabidTortuga 0
Won $791 online from a $10BR. Won $5703 live, including chopping a tournament and a decent score at 2/5NL. Only played 21 times live.I really slacked and should have done better, but I played on autopilot too much, and had tilt issues the second half of the year online.Dink is my hero. Balloon guy 158
I turned my $94 piece of Zach from the FCP golf/poker tournament win into a full $500 before I blew it on a bad run in $3/$6 HORSE, down to $20, which I milked until I won an FCP triple draw Nego O for $120 which I then turned into $400 before I gave away $100, so now $300, which is a 300% ROI, which makes me basically awesome.Classes will be offered in 09' to the first 14 people who bring me a good cigar and $17 to prove you can be a serious studentLive I didn't cash in any of the 4 tournaments I played, nor the sats at the WSOP, but cashed about $800 in live $3/$6 total, including the recent play at Arizona Casino with Nutzbuster and my son in law last week where I won $200Lottery, I won a free ticket from a lottery ticket my daughter gave me, but I haven't cashed it back, so I should do that soon. Dago 0
January to October: I played an average of one day a month I think. :P7 October to 19 October: I played on Unibet where I had a roll of €230 (from 2007) that I turned into €330. (€70 from 0.05/0.1 cash games and €30 from winning a freeroll tournament)19 October to 27 October: I took that €100 profit and made an account on pokerstars with it. It took about a week before all the transactions were done at last.27 October till now: I turned my starting $126(=€100) in $901 now ($50 of that profit is from the deposit bonus)GraphI'm down 80$ in non-SnG tournaments and down 30$ in cash games testing some horse type games that's i'm far from used to, but with a server crash a 200$ cash in a 4.4 didn't make it on this SnG graph so this about sums it up.All in all I'm looking forward to 2009. checkymcfold 0
LHE/benefits: a little bit over 50k, almost all of which came after september when i got serious about putting in hands. my winrate was a little bit meh, at 0.4BB/100, but i was playing in such a way so as to optimize the money i was making including benefits, not just winrate. since my rakeback calculation switched to average contributed, i've been closer to 1.2BB/100, which is far and away the best winrate for the regs at my games, so i'm happy. i want to up the amount of hands i play by a significant margin next year, though. 20-25k a month at least.tourneys: a little over 4500 on ftp for a 56% roi. 50 bucks on stars for a 4% roi. lol, stars is rigged.fairly happy with my tourney results since i'm hardly a tourney player, although i wish that i'd force myself to play fewer tourneys but higher buyins so that i could convince myself to work harder on my tourney game and not play mostly drunkfests at 3am, lol.o8: a little under 5k in very, very few hands, comparatively speaking. ran at nearly 6BB/100 for limit and over 11ptbb/100 in pl/nl, so that'll make up for a 2007 where i was barely above breakeven after a terrible run at the end. i'll take it.draw games: a hair above 5.5BB/100 for badugi and a hair below 2BB/100 for 2-7. quite pleased with badugi, should game select better at 2-7. made nearly 5k here, too. after looking at my winrate, though, i wanna play a LOT more badugi and 2-7 next year, shooting for 5-10k hands/month.stud games: breakeven at razz in very limited play, won about 100 dollars at stud hi in similarly limited play, won about 1k at stud8 for a decent 1.5BB/100 winrate. i need to improve my stud game fairly significantly in all areas, imo. i get stubborn far, far too often.PLO: 5ptbb/100 in fairly limited play. won about 1500 here, mostly at 1/2. considering how i was game selecting, i probably need to work on my game a lot.mixed games: mostly 8-game which makes it tough to calculate a meaningful winrate, but i won about 3k in mixed games and got about 1/5 of the way to my 400-to-10k 8-game challenge on stars, though an untimely but necessary withdrawal killed me there fairly early into it and i lost a lot of my desire to bother trying.adding in other, non-AP benefits, and a month of live play in vegas that was in the black but not especially great, that brings me to a little under 90k on the year, though part of that i was staked, so i didn't actually clear that much in terms of what entered my own pockets. i'd wanted to hit 6 figures, but oh, well. it was enough to get me through a really expensive year where i was supporting two people, so i'll take it. went broke in january, and somehow still managed to go the whole year without a losing month. go figure.best of luck in 09 to everyone!
