Balloon guy 158
Okay maybe I need to reread this.I went to the local casino and sat down at a $3/$6 limit game and began copying everyone to become their tells. This lady sneezed, I sneezedA dude coughed, I coughedA guy asked a waitress for water and a bag of chips and I asked for a water and a bag of chipsThe dealer threw two cards at me, I threw two cards at him.The security asked me to leave, I asked him to leaveHe started talking into a microphone clipped to his shoulder, I started talking into a pretend microphone clipped to my shoulder.Basically I guess I missed how this is supposed to help. All that happened was a bunch of people became agitated, which I did feel btwNeed a good recommendation for a lawyer though.

Mirror neurons are part of the brain that convince us that when we see something we are actually experiencing it.According to the American Psychological Association, over the past 12 years, girls have changed in their thinking. They are beginning to see themselves as having their only value in sexuality."When a child sees herself only as a sexual object, she is no longer able to demand the kind of respect she deserves," Dr. Cooper said. "The new definition of 'love' these days is sending a sexually explicit picture."---VB, I don't really care to get into a debate on feminism or anything like that, but I'm curious wrt your thoughts. Mirror neurons do not "convince us that we are experiencing what we are seeing". Barring certain rare forms of brain damage we are always aware that what we are seeing is happening to someone else. The fact that we understand what we see by simulation does not mean that we confuse our own experiences with someone else's. Do these kids watch porn and come away thinking they are no longer virgins? That said, there is a kernel of truth here, in that watching sex is akin to mentally practicing it. It's very similar to just fantasizing in that regard. I'm sure the over-availability of sexual materials affects people, but I'm not really comfortable with the way they've pinned it on a neural mechanism just to make it sound more scientific-y. Balloon guy 158
Nice 8,000th post, I am in agreement with everything you stated. GET BACK TO RESEARCHY SCIENCE STUFF.I also post on a cognitive neuroscience dating board under the screen name Roxanne, and I came across this thread:Author: RoseVBDate: DEC 2008Subject: My test study on poker player's gullibility and measurements of suspense generated by delayed gratification.Hi all, I have just started a test post on another board ( I can't tell you which one because you girls will skew ( doesn't that sound like screw ) the results)Basically I posted some random mumbo jumbo with no basis to anything remotely true, but I called it Part 1. Now I have no intention of ever posting Part 2, but I will monitor two things;1. Their suspense levels in waiting for my Part 2 and how long before they bump my post ( I wish someone would 'bump' my post )2. How many people will believe the claptrap I will be pretending to know what I am talking about. You girls know I will keep you posted,Love and kissesRoseVBMakes you go Hmmmmm
