( That and we have no budget )Gov will create a Player of the Year page on the main website that will remain there in perpetuity so the winner will be able to show their Grandchildren.Anybody not named Daniel Negreanu who is a current FCPer is eligible and the criteria is success at poker in 2008. We'll be making the announcement on Jan 1st or 2nd although the winner will be contacted before that so that we can get some information from them and their input on their page.So let us know who it should be and don't be shy if you think it should be you. As aforementioned, he has a bright, positive outlook, is always willing to offer advice and he is willing to hope on the rail and support other FCPers (many high stakes players would not). People don't know much about him because he mostly hangs out in the LHE challenge thread and most people hate when it's not unlimited hold them. I of course won't say anything, because I do it for the love of the game and not the recognition, but a few players will pop in and say, "what about Dutch? He won $7,000,000 it cash games, the $50K HORSE and the LHE championship all in one year." And I'll step in and be all, "no, no, so many great players. I'm just lucky. Really You're all so great." But my fans and I will know the truth, and that will be plenty for me. I really don't need the attention or the fame, it's just about the art of poker. No ego; being the best is enough.
