I dont think there is anyway that you can fold here. If villian shows a flush than take the cooler and move on. Its poker but I cant see any situation that we can fold here.

Well you can either bet fold or just concede. I don't think you have to worry about a boat here because two pair or a flopped set raises you on the flop. I think betting is the best move. Depending on the villians you have to factor in hands like top pair or an OESD or a pair with an OESD. I wouldn't hate betting $6 or $7 here. It's close.

If the read on villian is that he he a strong player then realistically a set isnt able to be ruled out and a check call after the flop planning to ditch it on the turn if the board doesnt pair with such a draw heavy flop.... very curious as to villians range is peeling for later streets in his arsenal etc .... just a thought

Hero still has 2 villains, not one.I probably throw out a 1/2 pot probe and take it from there. If I get raised I'm willing to fold the straight. The problem with checking is that you could end up facing a larger bet.

I think in a raise-call PF hand, with a bet-call on the flop, you're looking at a lot of drawing hands out there. Which means middle suited connectors a lot. I don't think anyone flopped a set. Two pair is much more likely, but 78 is played SO often I wouldn't be surprise someone filled up. Also, I don't know about anyone else's experience, but I don't make $ with straights with a flushed, paired board on the turn, with two villains giving flop action. I think betting only gets us called or raised and we see a worse card on the river 50% of the time. So, it may seem passive, I might check this hand around on the turn. If it checks around, I can call a reasonable river bet. I just don't think this hand has a lot of value/mileage left in it.

Uh, a cooler is like set over set or nut straight vs. 2nd nut straight. This is not a cooler if someone turned a flush or a boat. That's one of the WORST cards in the deck, and while I don't HATE c/fing since there are two people in, I don't think I could do it.I think b/f is probably best, but it has to be enough that you don't induce a bluff raise. I think 6-7 is fine and reevaluate the river if called, depending on what it is of course.
