DonkSlayer 1
It doesn't happen on here too much because the Obama supporters amongst the poker players tend to be more (surprise) pragmatic than emotional.I read lots of blogs and web sites like DrudgeReport and HuffingtonPost, so I see a lot of weeeee Obama commentary, about how great life is going to be when he gets in, how much the world will support us, how bipartisan he'll be, etc etc. As if. As if Nancy Pelosi & gang are ANY more bipartisan than their GOP predecessors. As if Obama is really into crossing the aisle and the lines and being everyone's President. Now, it's very true that Bush & Co don't give interviews to much visual media outside of Fox News...but they don't deny print & electronic print access too arbitrarily. Not so for Obama & Co. We've heard the stories about Obama's campaign denying certain radio and TV stations access once they didn't like a question or a lack of support from them. And now this: Another one bites the dust."Uh yeah we just had to make some tough decisions about who gets a seat on the plane and we want to make sure we're getting across to the swing votes." Yeeeaaah, because "Jet" and "Ebony" magazine readers' votes are reeeallly up in the air right now. The 30% average of Americans "happy" with how things are going isn't going to change in amount after Obama is elected; the only change will be whom that 30% represents. weishan14 0
... and now, if you don't want to make a contribution - pay out more of your hard-earned money in taxes - you are "making a virtue out of selfishness", according to Obama.
