TrueAce13 18
I believe this is the hand where he does indeed get a penalty, and then goes to meet with Jeffery Pollack before play begins the following day and convinces him to revoke the penalty. It was a huge deal when it happened because people were going bananas that they would do this for Hellmuth. If it was some unknown they would never ever ever revoke it. Its a huge joke and I hope ESPN addresses it when play starts up on next weeks broadcast.MarkThe word according to Mark. Well said.

blakheart 3
Phil needs to be taken down a notch, I don't care what he's done for poker...."It's his life..." and it is not like giving him a penalty would make him go away.Between Phil and Scotty I think WSOP will enforce penalties better next year. The antics of both were shameful this year.

monoatomic 0
If getting beat up in a casino parking lot by Sam Grizzle doesn't qualify as humiliating enough to curb your table antics...well, I'm thinking lost cause...

aucu 3
GweenThanks for the link,100% out of line, time to put an end to this.It was easy for RainKahn to shut up because it was a forced act, with this jerk it's natural so he has to be hit with a stick or something. Mercury69 3
Well, in all fairness, it was an idiotic call, but Hellmuth should know better, but he doesn't because he's a douche.I hope I get on a table with Hellmuth, I will tilt him so bad..."To you it's poker, to me this is my life" rofl... Ya the call may have been at bit more than marginal but ya gotta figue that Phil lays down way too many hands.I would love to play him and push his butons, he might as well have a please tilt me sign on his forehead. theinvestor 0
How long of a penalty would you get for knocking him out?
psujohn 0
Phil announced to the table exactly what he held with his table talk "What do you have aces? No. I think you have AQ. I raise." Sounds an awful lot like AK to me. Yeah it's not a great call. Hell opening with T4 isn't great to begin with. But you have to admit that you'd take any opportunity to tilt Phil at the featured table of the ME.
psujohn 0
How long of a penalty would you get for knocking him out? You'd likely be escorted from the property and into police custody. I know damn well that if anyone ever hit me in a poker room they'd be looking at assault charges.
