Just wondering....Did you have this same routine before "going inside"? Do you think that the structured life you went through while on the inside had an effect on this behavior?

I've always been kinda like this with a few things, but doing time definitely exacerbated it.

So have you tried changing it up to see if it bothers you? Otherwise what's the point in asking if it's OCD or not. That's how you'll find your answer.

The fact that I won't "change it up" is the impetus for the question to begin with. That I won't try, even just to 'test myself' speaks directly to this.

I've eaten the same breakfast every morning for the past 3 years.6" (measured with a ruler) flaxseed chewy rye (from the same bakery- when I am not near this bakery, I either bring it with, or have it shipped) heated in microwave for 20 seconds1 glass milk (from the same glass- I travel with it)1 cup tea (same glass, same tea)2 hardboiled eggs, taken from the container in left to right- top to bottom fashion. How OCD is this? My girl says massively textbook severe OCD. I say not, I just know what I like.
Massively OCD. Not that there's anything wrong with it. It's just breakfast and you're free to have what you what.
not that ocd, just efficient. i think guys like you, who understand efficiency, good business, etc. are going to have behaviors which appear to be obsessive when they're not at all. do you think donald trump spends 10 minutes every morning deciding what he's going to have for breakfast? of course not, he probably has someone decide for him or he eats the same thing. it's silly for a man who needs to accomplish a lot in a day to spend more time then necessary dealing with trivial decisions like which socks to wear or, like in your case, what to eat for breakfast.it would become a disorder if there's no logic to eating the same breakfast every morning or if you didn't even like the breakfast but HAD to have it anyway.
You two should talk more. Know what I'm sayin'?
