brvheart 1,759
The VP debate tonight is absolutely McCain's final shot at winning this thing, IMO. As long as Palin doesn't look like a fool he can still win. If she looks foolish, it's over.

Zealous Donkey 0
Dennis Miller had a good line last night.Miller stated that he thinks Palin's best chance is to pepper spray Bidan and claim that he pinched her under the table.

Hmmm. Maybe the Dems should make sure Palin and Bill Clinton are never in the same room.
Nimue1995 1
Actually I got a laugh out of her line about having watched Biden making speeches since she was in 2nd grade . Don't know if she really wants to call attention to the age issue but it was funny. And if she manages to be kind of "oh gee golly" and then hit with a little zinger like that during the debate she might just pull it off.

That's a lot of pressure.

As long as Palin doesn't look like a fool he can still win. If she looks foolish, it's over.If she looks more foolish than she already has then she will bow out. They can't keep the charade up. But, I think she will do well enough (lets be honest the expectations are low for her) then everyone will be like wow she really impressed me. Maybe they are pulling the old rope-a-dope with her, and she comes off like some genuis. IMO she should just bow out, she has plenty of reasons/excuses. I think they are too far along though now. If she preforms slightly above the bar, he's still got a shot. So, he can lose tonight but he can't really win.
