Jam-Fly 8
Daniel hardly had pocket fours that hand and layed down quads???? What other hand do you lead the river with? Can he do it with just a 4? pity we don't know previous action
Jambizzle 0
think he's still got some playing to do after dinner. Not much, just 4 players to go, I'd give it another 3 hours.
gradin123 0
Daniel hardly had pocket fours that hand and layed down quads???? What other hand do you lead the river with? Can he do it with just a 4? pity we don't know previous actionThere is absolutely no way he folded 44. The other guy will go allin with any 6 so I guarantee he wouldn't fold 44.Daniel obviously did not have a 6 or 44 on that hand. Maybe he was just totally bluffing but his reaction after the reraise suggests he was sucked out on. I think he bet 120000 to find out if the guy had a 6 without risking even more chips. My bet is he had 53 or 22. The bet on the river was a defensive bet. He figures if he checks and shows weakness the other guy will go allin regardless. Bet 120000 and know for sure. The question is whether if he did check whether he would have called the allin. Like i said earlier I understand the river bet but I'd probably would have just checked and folded myself because besides a 4 or 6 I can't see what else the guy could have.I really don't even think Daniel had a 4. If he did the hand was played poorly all around. 53 or 22 IMO

Jam-Fly 8
I guess I'm just a dreamer, but how cool would it have been if he did fold pocket fours? that'd be just so cool. fold quads when he's behind, then go on to win the tournament..what dreams are made of.
pele_br 0
FAVOURITE TO WIN THE MAIN EVENT?Ivan the Potentially Incredible"Ivan, you're almost at the final table!" said Scott Fischman to Ivan Demidov. "First and only man in history!"Fischman is referring to the incredible feat that Demidov is two eliminations away from achieving: Being the first player ever to reach the final table of both the WSOP Main Event and the WSOP-E Main Event. What's more, he'd also become the first and only person ever to reach both final tables in the same year!Think of the odds. Demidov plowed through a field of 6,844 players in this summer's Main Event and is second in chips heading into November's final table. In Europe, while the field here isn't nearly as big (362), it turned out to be a conglomeration of the world's finest poker players and getting through a field like the one we saw here this week is certainly no easy task.Demidov currently has about 765,000 in chips which puts him just above average and slightly better than middle-of-the-pack status on our leaderboard. He's got several fans in attendance here today, many hoping that they get to witness a bit of poker history unfold in front of their eyes. As members of the poker media, we try to avoid cheering a particular player on, although in this case, it's difficult not to root for the guy, as it could take 100 years for something like this to happen again.EDIT: Not the Europe one obv...
