Jt Sooted .50/1 Stars

Villian is a 46/29/1.6 through 78 hands. I three bet him to isolate.I wonder if JTs is worth 3-betting with here. It has little showdown value and villian sees showdown 50%. I did not notice this when I 3-bet.Poker StarsLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $0.50/$16 playersConverterPre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with T :ts J :D2 folds, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, CO calls.Flop: 3 :D T :D 9 :club: (7.5SB, 2 players)CO checks, Hero bets, CO calls.Turn: K :4h (4.75BB, 2 players)CO checks, Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls.River: J :5c (8.75BB, 2 players)CO bets, Hero calls.Results:Final pot: 10.75BB

What do you consider a tag at .5/1 6 max? I find the players much, much more passive than say, 2/4.
i don't always mean tag as a compliment.when i play lhe i don't open four tables and just fire away. i have notes on every player at the table. i pay attention to things like how often they try to steal and then just give up if you three bet them. i will test these people with hands like this over and over until they start to play back. the players who are exploitable in this manner are often multitabling tags who raise their range from the CO, see they get three bet, miss the flop, and just fold. a lot of the time they don't even peel on flops that i think its correct to peal with their entire range. try an expiriment. sit at the worst .25/.50 table you can find. they do exist. especially make sure there are two tightish players to your left. any time they raise from the hijack or co 3 bet them with almost any hand that you would overlimp two players with. you will be shocked how much you can get away with this stuff.
