Raise, Ha! 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 Perhaps rather than flame a random player who innocently sits at a poker table expecting to play a game with members of a forum she plays with twice each week, someone should have realized that a random player was at the table and didn't understand what was happening and stopped the game to explain. Better yet, maybe you should actually plan these things out and use some safeguards. If you don't want random players, changing the password for these "special events" might be an option. Further, maybe something should be said in the tourney window saying "See the official thread on Full Contact Poker for details about how to play the game" Maybe even say something in the tourney window other than "Welcome to the games" might have been a tip off. Getting the thread pinned might even have been considered. The childish behavior of those outspoken few who chose to complain rather than explain says volumes about their character.
