Pt Numbers For 9 Handed Games

Recommended Posts

I've been playing mostly 6-max PLO for last year and have recently started venturing into $.10/$.25 full ring NLH. I have don't have a damn clue what I'm doing. What should my poker tracker numbers look like for full ring NLH if I'm playing a standard TAG game?I'd love it if any LAG players could share their numbers too.

I dunno if it will help you for other people to give their numbers. You need to find what is right for you. Besides things like number of tables etc... all come into play. Here's one kinda mathematical way I look at the difference between 6 Max and 9 max tables (this advice comes with the caveat that I could totally not know what I am talking about here, LOL).You should look for a VIP of approximately 50% higher in 6Max then what you get on a 9 handed game. Your ratio of PFR to your VIP should remain about the same and your AF should I would think remain the same.So let's take some numbers - if your VIP at 6Max was 30% - try playing 20% of 9 handed hands as a starting point. If it was 25% try playing at a VIP of 16.5% or so 9 handed. If you are used to playing 40% of hands at 6 Max - well you weren't TAG then, LOL. In particular 9 handed you should be a lot tighter in those first few positions then you are used to being. Again, I don't think anyone can give you their magic numbers for you to shoot for. You have to find your own numbers.Edit: ****Sorry didn't you were playing 6 handed PLO and had switched to NLHE **** given they are two totally different games - I'd say my advice is likely a bit useless!
