ObeyTheDog 0
Lol...you would think getting engaged is a wonderful thing. :)Well, it is, and I appreciate all the congrats from my recent plunge back in early June to my love. We're very happy here in Vegas and having lots of fun planning the wedding for December. And no, none of you fukks are invited to drink my booze and eat my food at over $100/head. You are not worth it, I've met you. yeah...you. Especially sprung. Well, maybe sprung if he wants to come watch the steelers lose every sunday.Well, one unfortunate compromise I made with the future mrs, despite poker paying for our house and her ring and her many gifts, is to give up the grind and playing with my own monies. So after this wsop, which didn't go very well for me, bah, I pulled the plug on my accounts and secured some investments instead to make her a happy woman and put her mind at ease that I'm not going to lead a life as a poker player. Spare me your opinions, believe me I know.....but when you have someone you love this much, or for those who do, I hope you understand that you would do anything, even if it meant this. And then came the rub...I find out now she's ok with me playing just the big events, online and live, as long as it doesn't interfere with my future job as a math teacher and as long as it's not OUR money I'm risking. So for those ballas with money who want more action during wcoop events, I'm open to a stake for any hold'em events and the razz event. Here's the resume:http://www.bluffmagazine.com/thepokerdb/1L...yer-profile.aspI have online tourney winnings of over $125,000 in NLHE including final tables in Full Tilt 750k (4th), PartyPoker Million (4th), PokerRoom $320 Big Deal (1st), live tourney winnings of $70,000. I have played 10-20 to 50-100 Razz for 14 months at Full Tilt and Stars with a pokertracker stats provided if you want to see results.I appreciate the communitiy's interest if you're looking for extra gambol or investment. I made a promise and I intend to keep it and I'm very happy with the decision if makes her feel more secure. I know not everyone will agree with that, but believe me, for those who have met her you know....she's worth it to me.Standard deals, 50/50 plus stakeback.

no not baxter 0
dude, u have like 100 tournaments played on full tilt...u really think anyone who is gonna back u is just gonna back u off of 100 tournaments?? id post some HHs of you playing tournaments if anything
GrinderMJ 0
Ya, these sample sizes are kind of small and like, not incredibly impressive, especially considering you opted out of stars, which has kind of a different structure than full tilt (and it's where the wcoop is!) ObeyTheDog 0
I was a cash game player who played mainly only sunday tourneys in between. Never a high volume player, always quality of tourney over quantity. I realize it's not the most impressive and I'm not claiming to be the best. Definitely +EV in tourneys, especially events the size of wcoop. 1luckyesobey ftpobeyonetime partyplutophobey starsRound42 will vouch for tourneys, cwar24 can vouch for cash games. The former is pretty respected in tourneys, won an FTOPS event and FT Stars PCA last year and also lives here in vegas. cwar24 is considered one of the best HU cash game players and is a moderator on 2+2 and coached a player in the NBC heads up event and we play sessions on different tables together discussing hands. ObeyTheDog 0
true, round42 is the nutzGreat guy too. Someone who really gets what it's all about and not an ounce of ego. He stayed at my place and I got to sweat him and go over hands while he stayed here. He's someone who just enjoys the game clearly....we played a home game tonight with just 10 cent - 20 cent 4-handed HORSE just for the fun of it. You know someone takes the game seriously when he folds for 20 cents on the river.
Dirtydutch 8
...but believe me, for those who have met her you know....she's worth it to me.Nothing pops my wood like irrational expectations of deviation and distrust of my competence in endeavors in which one apparently knows tits-all. She's a keeper.(If you posted in OT, I assume I've already begged you not to go through with it. That was in my existential examination stage. I'm back to comic apathism, so go with God.) gfdsa146 0
You're gonna be a future math teacher, right? So that means its time to start coaching your students into poker players. One by one, you train them up and then send them out to the tables in exchange for 5% of lifetime winnings. Men the Master FTW.

Im mean no offense but if you have to post on an open forum essentially begging for a stake rather then privately being able to make arrangements with a friend "in the business"...... Something makes me think there is more to this little story.
