Poppy_Hillis 11
I was listening to a KC radio station today, and they had a guy from vegas something .com picking games, he picked like 6 or 7 games and laid the points in all of them. It was pretty funny. Part of me thinks he did it on purpose because he knows the majority will either agree or want to go with the favorite and then go to his site.

powerpoker 0
LOL 1 punt 900 yards of offense and i cant get 60 pts...little bit of bad luck for me tonight in this one...i hate coaches that try to out think themselves...navy on a scoring drive and they pass?...sigh...oh well big day tomorrow
Tactical Bear 3
I have no clue how that didn't go over.I had the game on in the background all night, and at some point in the 4th quarter I actually thought the number had gone over. I looked up again with around 6 minutes left and realized I was still alive. Scoring 62 points in a game is pretty hard.

Scoring 62 points in a game is pretty hard.Generally yes, i agree, but when both defenses are not that good and with 1 punt and 900 yds of offense it will happen more often than not. All i needed was a FG, for the over, would have still kept you under as well.

I looked up again with around 6 minutes left and realized I was still alive. Scoring 62 points in a game is pretty hard.Yes, normally 62 points is hard but not in a game like this one. This was set to hit 80, but Navy stalled on their first three drives and had to kick FGs. Then Navy went for it in the 3rd from the 3 yd line and didn't make it and threw an interception at the 9 yd line in the 4th. Also, Ball State dropped wide open TDs at least twice. Tactical Bear 3
I'd just like to point out I have money riding on a team that is starting a Tuiasosopo at third base tonight. I'm not sure which one it is. Matt, maybe? Awesome.
powerpoker 0
Kent St. vs. Iowa St. (-7)- Last week ISU played a 1-AA school and had 6 take-a-ways, granted it was against south dakota state but they beat Minn last year. Iowa state had a bad start to last year but finished the year strong with wins against Colorado and Kansas state and hopefully the momentum will carry onto this year. The offense and defense are expected to improve although they still will struggle in conference play most likely. Kent St. had 260 yds of total offense in thier home opener last week agasint boston college in which they had 3 turnovers and were shut out. Simply put Kent State's offense is going to be a problem for them again this week, on the road and with iowa state improving on both sides of the ball i think they can cover a reasonable line at home. IOWA ST. -6.5 (-120 bought half pt) Uconn (-7) vs. Temple- Last year temple traveled to uconn as a monster dog and should have won the game outright if not for a blown call at the end of the game. This year Uconn gets to travel to Temple (not a really a HFA) since there will be about 10 ppl in the crowd. Lot of starters are returning in this one from last years game, so both teams should be familiar with each other. I like both teams defenses better than both teams offenses and i think it should be a faily low scoring game. So ill take the home team plus the points, in a revenge sport in a low scoring game. Temple +7.5 (buy half pt).Northwestern -6.5 vs. Duke- Um wrong team is the favorite here. Duke goes into NW last year and beats them and then comes home and is a dog the following year when they have a bunch of starters returning and look to be a team on the rise, i just dont get it. I think it might have something to do with the stigma that duke has carried around for a long time now of a horrid team (rightfully so). Northwestern beat up on the cuse last week who might be the worst BCS school in the country. The cuse were hangin with NW until there was a pick six by NW that blew the game open and any momentum that the cuse had. Duke has a good qb who usually does well against bad defenses, which is exacly what NW is. DUKE +7 (buy half pt.)West V. vs. ECU- This could be a rather high scoring game, and i think that ECU has the better defense and will be able to stop west v. easier than the other way around. The leading tackler for west v is out which should only help pickney pick apart a rather suspect secondary, since there will less pressure coming from the linebacker position. Last weeks game was on a neutral field and now the pirates are going back home and teh crowd should be outta control. The defense for ECU held VTech to less than 250 yds of offense and while i dont think that they will be able to stop west v that easily i think they will keep the game close to the end. Look for another upset possibility with the pirates. ECU +
Tactical Bear 3
I am playing it as close to the vest as possible today. I got sloppy and put in a batch of bets at a time last week, and it cost me some money. I'll post plays as I make them, probably starting around 1030EST
Tactical Bear 3
San Jose St. +26.5 +101 (4x)OhioSt Under 46.5 -105 (3x)Boston College -6.5 -105 (4x)I was hoping Georgia Tech would get hit a little harder so I could make BC a 6x bong, but it didn't come together quite like I'd hoped. Still a legitimate contrarian look, though. Might add Temple later.

Tactical Bear 3
Oh my God this BC game is ****ing sick. They have just been dominant so far, and they're up 9-7. They've got a dropped TD pass, and at least 3 other drives have have stalled out inside the 20, including an awesome missed fielgoal just a few moments ago. THey've outgained GaTech by about 100 yards and have forced 3 turnovers without committing any, and they're not going to cover

rocketpoker828 0
lolyou guys looking ahead to USC or does the OSU offense suck that bad without Wells?I don't know...part of me believes we were looking ahead, and part of me agrees that we do indeed suck without Wells. That being said, the O has looked good in the second half. Btw, (this hurts me to say as a SEC hater,) but I hope that Georgia wins if OSU doesn't. They're def. super talented, and I really like Stafford.
