psujohn 0
Couple big hands from my recent live visit that I think are mostly coolers but I wanted to make sure.Typical live 1/2 table - largely loose passive villains - but this is mid week in AC so most villains are semi-regulars and not the drunk tourist types.Hero is in LP with about $220, Villain 1 is in MP and covers, Villain 2 is B and has about $200.Hero is dealt AAPreflop: folds to Villain 1 who opens to $10, folds to Hero who calls, Villain 2 calls.Flop: QT3r (Pot $30)Villain 1 bets $15, Hero raises to $40, Villain 2 folds, Villain 1 re-raises to $90, Hero tanks and shovesFlatting with AA pre is not my typical line. This pot was oddly uncontested - a more typical pot would be 5 or 6 ways to the flop. I think the flop it totally standard until villain 3-bet and it's clearly a push or fold at this point. I'm about 90% sure that villain can beat AQ in this spot and if so the only think I'm ahead of is KK. If I shove it's $120 for villain to call into a $450 pot so I likely don't have a lot of fold equity against QT and certainly none against a set. Still something about villain's body language tells me he has KK here so I go with my gut.Tanks. Says you must have a set. Tanks some more and calls.Cooler for one of us or should it have gone down differently? (lets just allow the pre-flop flat this time).

Villains like this pop up with AQ, KQ, KJ, KK often enough. Can it have gone differently assuming you still flat and Villain 1 has KK? Probably not since this is live, but online, where games are much nittier, this is a pretty easy fold to make for KK.
trystero 0
Why would you flat preflop at 1/2?also, stop playing at this rigged casino.
psujohn 0
Why would you flat preflop at 1/2?also, stop playing at this rigged casino. The flat is extremely non-standard and something I only did because it really appeared that the hand would be played out heads up. People yet to act tend to telegraph their intentions and the blinds didn't look at all interested. The casino may be rigged but I didn't give results on any of these hands and I didn't lose all of them. A cooler is a cooler regardless of which side of it you're on.
SCS 0
I think the flop shove is standard here. Most players at 1/2 live will stack off here with all the hands that AcesUp46 mentioned.

No_Neck 0
Your an idiot if you think a card room at a casino is riggedcalm down chuck it was a joke. Also don't flat with AA preflop if you are going to shove any flop, it isn't a good way of playing. Raise and then shove, but don't let anyone with Q3 in for free and get a free shot at your stack. It is basically retarded.
trystero 0
Your an idiot if you think a card room at a casino is rigged...and you're an idiot for two reasons:1) "your"2) Reading comprehension skills. Should I use the cute emoticons next time to indicate sarcasm for you, friend?

AcesUp46 0
Those of you all that don't think that live casino is rigged have clearly never played 3/6 Limit Holdem at the riverboats in Northern Indiana.

NoBBiR 0
You don't have any FE against Q10 or a set anyway, so getting it in on the flop as played is perfectly fine. You have aces and 100bbs, I'm perfectly fine getting it in all day on this flop. Last time I didn't raise aces preflop at 1/2 a guy shot me.It was a good lesson.POTY. Better yet, post of the century. Funnier still because a lot of the new posters think you're kidding.

psujohn 0
The boat is now my 2nd favorite place in AC. Though I've only ever played Trop, Showboat and Borgata and Trop has been completely run into the ground.
