Governator 54
At 5 pm Pacific it looked like Al Smooth was just below average at 55k, DN was around 30k, and I dont see Steve in the active counts (or the busted players list, but thats not everybody).WTF? at 5:02 DN is at 58, and Al/Steve nowhere on the list. Are their counts accurate?Daniel is at 50k, Al is at 54 according to WPT. Not sure about Steve.

gatortom64 1
Layne Flack Gets PenaltyAfter getting over ruled twice on a floor decision, Layne Flack was given a penalty for dropping the F-bomb in disgust. Of course, after being given the penalty, Flack proceeded to say, "F$#@ you, I'll give YOU a F*$^% penalty."As it turns out, Flack doesn't have the authority to give the floorman a penalty, and spent the duration of his time out ranting in the sushi bar. There will be a video of Flack's antics up shortly on CardPlayer TV.

rcgs59 15
The Old Suck-and-Resuck Monday, August 25, 2008 07:39 PM PDT Alvin Zeidenfeld is all in preflop with A-Q against Season VI WPT World Champion David Chiu's A-K. The flop misses them both, but a queen on the turn puts Zeidenfeld in the lead, and he only needs to dodge a king on the river to double up. The river card is a king. The poker gods teased Zeidenfeld before pulling the rug out from under him, busting him out of the tournament. David Chiu takes his chips, building his stack to about 80,000. gg Al,

Al Smooth 0
;ksdjnfvkjnver;kjnrb I suck at pokerChiu raised to 3200 from early-ish position, and it folds to me in the BB with 27400 in my stack, I raise to 15000 (btw, I hadn't played a hand in over an hour and a half after taking two coolers back to back for half my stack), he almost lays his hand down, then decides to say f*** it and throws a bunch of 5k chips in there, I call...ggI figured that basically telling him this hand would cost him over half his stack might scare him off for the resteal, but unfortunately not. Official chip counts should be released by the casino in an hour or two, but it looks like Adam Weinraub holds on to the chip lead with about 438,000. steve7stud 0
Sigh. This is probably the best I have played in any tournament ever. I went out with AK vs KK. I had AK obviously. It was a really complex situation. In the end I think I played the hand poorly. Aside from that, I was really happy with my play during the event. Sadly, if you make a mistake that can be the end of your run.I had Barry Greenstein at my table today. I've played a lot of poker with Barry in cash games, but never in tournaments. I was truly impressed with how he played. His performance was flawless imo.Gl to Daniel and Barry on Day3.

rdtedm 0
I'll give you 1,000:1 that at the end of day 1 Ali Eslami has the chiplead. Or I'll give you my 1.25 to your 1 that Al Smooth finishes better than steve? i'll take the other side. my 50 to your 40 that al smooth > steve.if you set the line on daniel vs. either i'll take a side on that as well. Ok, I'll book this if we can do 25:20, my 20 on steve to your 25 on al.Also, checked the WPT site.. What's Al's real name? Couldn't find steve listed on chipcounts either. Can someone link me to a full roster? Alvin Zeidenfeldbooked. so they clearly busted within an hour of each other, we kinda need an order to settle the bet? i thought the bet was who'd have the better stack by the end of the day... if so it should be a pushThis is a standard last longer? I still dont know who lasted longer, it seems pretty close. Anyone know?
