He started out just being silly then got worse and worse as the final table went on. Scotty is still one of the best pros and a great guy but that was bad form.

There was a lot of talk about how ESPN was going to handle this and I think they should be credited a little bit. Obviously, they had to air this and there was no way to edit his insanity, but they hammered him pretty good, which was nice. He won a lot of money, but lost everything else. What a black eye for what was supposed to be a celebration of Reese and the most sought after "honorable" trophy. I fully expect Shieky to win it next year.

I've played blackjack with him and he was real cool, but I'd disagree with the above post stating he's a great guy. If I were him I'd get out in front of this and go to some BS rehab tomorrow in an attempt to restore my image. Meh, he probably doesn't care and is sleeping fine on his stack of money.

a friend of mine met scotty in tunica during one of the WSOP circuit events and he couldn't have been more nice apparently. The only pro he met that was more cordial was.......in fact.....chip reese who not only signed everything he wanted signed and took pictures but also went out of his way to get the casino manager and a bunch of other personnel to make it a big spectacle. It was so ridiculous that it became an on running joke on how chip enjoys being the ambassador of poker so much that he will go to the end of the earth just to get a good picture...a couple of jokes we made, Chip - "yah this disposable camera isn't gonna work guys...let me buy you this here $10,000 super High Definition Camera..."Him - "Chip did you just call the Tiger Woods AND Michael Jordan up on your cell phone so they could both fly to Tunica to take this picture with us?"and my favorite..."Chip did you train a bunch of dogs for the last six months to sit at a table with poker visors on and to hold cards in there paws in hopes that there would be an off chance that a couple of guys in Tunica might want to take a picture with you and a bunch of dogs set up as if it was a real life "dogs playing poker" picture?"

No, he didnt. He knew from the pips it was either a 6 or a 7. A 6 made him two pair and the 7 gave him trips. Either way he is calling, but only the 7 would win it for him. He didnt know that until after he called.

I totally agree about edog obviously being ashamed. I loved when Scotty said that Edog was in because scotty was nice and edog says... Im on my own agenda and you are on yours...lol Was Layne Flack hammered too?I would also love to hear what DN had to say about everything.
