Canadian Stars Cashout

Hey everyone, quick question if any of you has ever requested a cashout via check from party poker. I live in Canada, and would like to withdraw about $1k from my stars account by check to take care of a sudden expense. Question is, what are the odds of me receiving it by like wednesday of thursday if requested tommorrow? thanks for the help.

It depends heavily on the odds that you wrote pokerstars by mistake and meant to write Full Tilt.No personal experience but most of the canadians seem to be getting their cheques within 3-4 days, I haven't hear many of them complainsMore solid advice will follow

You've mentioned both Stars and Party in your OP so I'm going to assume you mean Stars.Poker Stars cheques for Canadians come from Vancouver and if you request more than $1,000 they will courier it. I always make my withdrawal requests on a Sunday night before I go to bed and everytime the courier has been at my home in Toronto on either Tuesday or Wednesday morning.Also, the cheque will be in $CDN converted from $US at a neutral exchange rate that is better than any bank since Stars isn't taking any juice on the currency conversion.

Is that new? Mine have always been in us funds.As bob said though they are usually there in a couple days and i have never had a problem.

Like Bob said, they are always good and quick, however your bank may put a hold on it since they source paying you is unfamiliar in your history, which could mean a week that they hold it.
