The Cirque shows are all good, depending on your taste and whether you want to go alone. There is a 1/2 price ticket booth on the Strip for same day shows. House of Blues at Mandalay Bay has decent food and music, and soft NLHE game and tourneys...but they are small.Food for $500 knocks you out of most of the gourment rooms unless youre going to starve on other days. Treasure Island has a great Tequila Bar/Mexican restaurant. Mirage has a Cali Pizza Kitchen (there are probably a couple of others). The food in the poker room at Caesars is surprisingly good.In THEhotel (part of Mandalay Bay) the casual restaurant is very good, and theres a good burger restaurant in the Shops or w.e. they are called..the walkway between Mandalay Bay and Luxor.Sushi tends to be overpriced and average all over.For good Italian food and some people watching Piero's (the restaurant by the Convention Center, not the catering location further south) is awesome. Best stone crab Ive ever had. It is on the expensive side but not gourmet room levels...just stay away from the wine list!For other casual food just walk the Strip..slowly in the heat!
I bring $100 a day for food and I could use more if I really wanted to go nuts. There are some really good cheap eats to supplement the expensive meals. The Buffets at the Bellagio, PH and Wynn are all good for about $30. Somedays I will have a $70 lunch and emerils the next a $5 combo at In and Out. Grand Luxe at The Venetian is real good and I dont think there is anything over $30 on the menu and most are less than $20 and lots to eat.

I still don't believe you guys went AND enjoyed it.
He was very funny. 75% stand up 25% props. I have seen him 3x and he never gets old IMO. Jamie (checky) is a huge fan but couldnt get a seat...SOLD OUT, he was very depressed. :club:

You can get a huge slice of pizza in NYNY for like $3 and Mirage puts out pastry/sandwiches for breakfast at like 5 or 6 am. PH puts out donuts in their poker room in the early am too. In n Out >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fatburger. It's worth a cab ride. The cab will take you through the drive thru. Don't worry you won't be the first to ask him to do it.The half price tix place is good but you're not going to get the best seats. Still worth it though. They also do discount meals but I didn't try that.I heard rumor of a pinball museum but never went. Hoover dam is a worthwhile trip if you've never been. Mostly I'm in the poker room though.

There are good cheap dailies at Planet Hollywood, Harrah's, and Treasure Island and others. The level of play is usually really bad in these although the structures are so atrocious that I would not reccomend playing them unless you want to be on suicide watch afterwards. The only places you should really consider playing a tournament are Caesars or Venetian but the entry fee will be steeper.

They have Banzai Run a game I totally loved in college. Looks like it's a $20 cab ride from the strip though. I may need to get a car one day next time I'm out there.

I ussually rent a car from Dollar when I am there. With tax and everything you can ussually get it for >30 a day. Just make sure you have your own insurance cuz theres more than doubles the price.

Don't let me down, you said you would go.I laughed so hard it hurt.
word, It's almost embarrassing to admit it, but he is funny. You'll hear people in the crowd shuffling out of the show saying "I thought that was gonna suck but I laughed my ass off".Here's a tip: Go on a Saturday night when the crowd is almost garunteed to be a little wasted/drunk/in a good mood. He plays off that and when the crowd is into it the show is ten times better.

Best Sportsbook imo is the Venetian. Watch your games here, drink top shelf whether you are gamboooling or not. Hot staff in fantastic outfits. At least last time I went.Italian sandwich shop in the Venetian foodcourt. Prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato sandwiches FTW for an affordable meal.
