Fcp Sunday Million Satellite Extravaganza

FCP Sunday Million Satellite ExtravaganzaIf you didn't see the previous thread, the basic idea of this tournament is that we all pay $10 to a pool and send at least one winner to the Sunday Million. Losers of the tournament retain a stake in the person who wins. Here are the details:- Entry fee is $10, sent to vbnautilus (Venice Beach) on PokerStars. Please send me a PM when you ship with your pokerstars name so I know who it came from. When I receive your entry fee, I will send you the password to the tournament. - Tournament #95713289 on PokerStars, Thursday July 17, 21:00 (9PM EST). $5.00 + .50 entry fee to this tournament will pay out like a regular $5 tournament - payouts are independent of our satellite entry. - We need at least 21 people to get a SM entry. I expect to get at least that many. If we get between 21 and 41 entrants, the winner of the satellite will receive $215 stake which must be used to enter this weeks Sunday Million. If you are not available to play the SM this week, it is recommended that you do not enter this satellite. However, the satellite winner may designate someone else from the satellite field to play the SM in his/her place. Payout arrangements for a substitution are up to the parties involved, but 50% of the winnings will always be distributed among the non-winners of the satellite. - Second place in the qualifier will win any extra money in the prize pool. For example, if we have 30 entrants, the prize pool is $300, first place gets the $215 entry and 2nd place gets $85. - Any winnings in the SM will be split as follows. Our horse retains 50%. 50% is split evenly among the others in the satellite. Example: we have 31 entrants, and qyayqi wins the satellite then cashes in the SM for 100K. Qyayqi gets 50K, we each get 50K/30 = $1,667. - In the case that we have enough entrants for more than one SM entry, SM cashes for each horse will be split in the same way. - I reserve the right to deny entry to anyone. If you have a low post count or are unknown, be prepared to verify your identity by providing your personal information to me. If I am not satisfied in any way that we can trust someone to be involved in this I will not send the password. - Anyone who enters the satellite without sending the entry fee beforehand (for example someone shares the password with a friend) is ineligible for any of the prize pool, even if they ship their entry afterwards. - Entry will close at 21:00 Thursday July 17.- By entering this tournament, you agree to the conditions outlined here. - I reserve the right to add to or change these rules if necessary (for instance if I left something important out) but I do not expect to change the basic rulesI will keep track of entrants here....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! :club:Entry fee paid (PS name):outsider13 (superjeff13)poo in a bag (dwyan3wad3)vbnautilus (vbnautilus)DoinSublime (DoinSublime)rcgs59 (rcgs59)imaliveru (imaliveru)ROACHBABY (ROACH6978)bbgun (bbgun5310)No_Neck (natethegreek)bobbiwithani (bobbiwithani)david_keena (blufferdave)Coyote18 (TwinsCubsFan)Mercury69 (xMercury69x)YBravo (The Stilt 13)copernicus (TheDominator)Gallo (GalloFX)WKTSWAY (WKTSWAY)SBriand (SBriand)bicoled (kickapoocole)ktjb23 (ktjb23)GetSprung (DBMSprung)Knollie919 (Knollie919)fitzinabox (fitzinabox)SuperJon (SuperJon9000)HighwayStar (Blue Baboon)mark_999 (mark_999)$260 prize pool

So does the winner retain a stake in himself? If there are 30 entrants and the winner cashes for 100k he should get $51,667. Am I wrong? Otherwise it should be 50k/29.

Thanks, I fixed my example. Winner does not retain a stake in himself.

good idea and I will partcipate if this continues on in the future. Just a little to busy at work right now to commit to playing any tourneys of any signifigance. One question I have is any chop solely at the discretion of the player who gets that far?

I will play this for sure if I have the time. How late will you accept entrys ? I won't know if I can play untill later on Thursday. I think this could get huge if we hype it.

Thursday July 17, 21:00 (9PM EST). If it wasn't at that that time i'd definately be in (thats 2am over here!). I don't think my boss would like me calling in sick because I was playing poker late at night, well not again. Good luck to those who enter though.

I was definitely interested, but as I expected, you are doing it too early for me. I don't get home from work until 8:00 Pacific, which is 2300 Eastern. Good luck to everyone, and if you change it to later, or if I somehow get sick and don't make it to work, I will be in.Just make sure whoever wins this takes down the million.

I'll ship the 10 tomorrow. I'm down although do we have the option of possibly picking someone else to play this for us. I'm gonna be embarassed as hell if I make an uberdonk microlimit move in a tourney I've never played before with all of FCP railing me. Maybe others can play under pressure but I'm probably not one of those people.
