Never considered the B-day curveball (damn u Kurt).There were a few reasons for leaving, not the least of which is the work situation has downshifted once again from mere torture to unbearable mayhem. And the soon to come loss of computer priveldges for personal laptops. I truly work for fu*king Nazi's. Toilet paper rationing and forced marches are right around the cornerThanks for the well wishes everyone, but I do plan to be scarce around here for a while. OMFG!Imagine buying a contract to do just that, for 20K.Imagine 8 years of hell go by and the job just gets worse and worse, and you want to kill yourself, but you don;t because but the end is not that far any more, gets closer and closer, now just 1.8 away!!!! YAY!Imagine knowing this is cast in stone, and then planning your entire future towards that date, financial, physical, emotional, etc.Then imagine suddenly out of the blue being told that do to some un known and obscure pension law back in '07, you now CAN NOT LEAVE AT AGE 50, and in fact may have to now work 7 more years.S E V E N NNNNNNN M O R RRRRRRRRRRRRE Y E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E R S S S S S S S Somfg....you have got to be kidding me?Lawyers are on this as we speak.And I know I am the luckiest prick to ever get to retire at 50.....but talk about a Fking bad beat.
