CoD:WaW disappointed me so much, I stopped playing xbox in general for the last month or so.

Played some Pool and Bowling on Home w/ Dev. It's pretty cool if it weren't for all the people. Some dude was standing right on top of me while we were playing pool and just dancing, but I could only see his head/shoulders from my view, and it looked like he was humping me. (I think Dev had the same view on his end) It was pretty odd.

I'm not overly impressed with it, but I didn't really expect anything from Home to begin with. I still don't see how Home itself is supposed to compete with XBox Live.

It's not supposed to on it's own, but it's something completely different. Xbox live isn't really much more than what PS3 had without having Home. (Granted, I haven't seen this new version they have out, but did they really add much to it?) It's just adding an extra social networking tool and I assume it's going to continue to grow quite a bit. Right now there aren't many features, but I think it'll get a lot more fleshed out.That being said, It's not really my cup of tea either at the moment, but who knows in the future?

haha, ya that guy was a douche. I outplayed you that game of pool but scratched after downing the 8 ball...lucky sob!Home's something that I had never even heard of more than 2 day ago. So I didn't really have any expectations going in. I can see reasons why its stupid but I think it has potential and could grow into something pretty cool. While Playstation Network may not have all the bells and whistles that Xbox Live has, you can't forget that it's free. Pretty big deal IMO.

Got the dreaded RRoD last night. Guess it'll give me a few weeks to catch up on PS3 and Wii. Still unhappy though :)O well. Resistance 2 / LBP time I guess.

It's a pretty painless process. They send you a box and pay for all the shipping both ways.

exactly, and if he still has his warranty the repair is on the house as wellMAKE SURE YOU REMOVE YOUR HARD DRIVE BEFORE YOU SHIP IT OFF THOUGHthere is no guarantee that they will return it to you so just make sure you remove it

I reached level 20 with good karma, and I'm now just wandering around discovering as many locations as I can. I've gotten kind of addicted to FIFA's Be A Pro mode. I uploaded two nice goals I had yesterday, but I'm not sure where I can view them online.

Actually, I have been experiencing some technical difficulties while playing, only recently, though. I have about 45 hours of gameplay with my one character and have recently had sound issues. I also walked into a ridiculous trap somewhere in DC and died, and my game froze after I died. But this has been the first instance of this in the entire 45 hours.

Anyone played Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, or Valkyria Chronicles? I'm a fan of JRPG's and wonder if anyone of you has any input?

I've heard that The Last Remnant is good but the time rate is really choppy but it's fine if you download it to your HD. Something that's worth around $40 but not for $60. I'm going to pick it up from Gamestop because I have alot of store credit from flipping games but I would wait for the price to drop if I was spending money out of my pocket. I've heard mixed reviews on IU but most agree that it starts off bad then gets really good the further you go.

I can't remember if you played lost Odyssey but if not I strongly recommend it.

I played cod4 for 30 minutes for the first time in months since I moved from my dad's. Forgot how amazing that game is... especially on my dad's systemS&D is the best game mode EVAR! Btw I have a bet with someone on the Gamefaqs board that he can't sustain his 6 K/D ratio for 12,000 kills. He's at 6.5 now @ about 6k kills. Loser has to give the other person his login & ship 50$.

avoid Gamestop like the plague when it comes to trade-insyou can get SO much more money selling them on half.com or eBay
