Potsie P 0
Be sure to drink plenty of fiji water(doesn't care that i'm beating a dead horse). This could become the next...dr. cossack (scranton)On another note...(Warning: BRAND re-review!)I was back at BRAND this week for work. I would LOVE to report that all the service kinks had been worked out by now, but alas, still not quite yet. We got seated 30 minutes late on the front end (despite a reservation) and waited 20 minutes after dessert for the check on the back end. At least this time we were offered a choice between Fiji or tap, and since I was on a work tab, obv we went for the FIJI and it was PHENOM at twice the price (SW). At least they didn't miss the boat as much with pouring our wine regularly. Anyway, I opted for the French Onion soup since everyone who had it last time raved about it and honestly, it DELIVERED--best French Onion soup I've ever had, bar none. Sides were solid as usual but while last time I had a good NY Strip, this time my bone-in Filet Mignon was VERY undercooked near the bone. I said "medium" but this thing was practically still mooing closest to the bone. Disappointing end to a promising start, because the first half of the steak was the bomb. Other positives however: the lounge really kicks ass IMO. Great place to watch my C's clinch their 17th title, with three flat screens within easy viewing no matter where you're sitting or facing. Wine selections are awesome, cool vibe, and what the staff lacks in ability, they make up for in nice, um, assets. My BRAND grade, therefore (and still) remains: C+.

Also happens with the Bone-ins sometimes, but they should know how to cook a steak, lol.I also hate all you guys for going back when I can't afford it. Why can't I win a big tourney or something? Then I'd be out there in a second.

nutzbuster 7
How is the room at luxor? They emailed me a deal that has me considering it over the flamingo when I go back July 5, just cause they throw in 2 for 1 carrot top tickets. Not so bad that I would not take a smoking deal. At least this place offer thugless elevator rides.Free Carrot Top tonight. We are looking forward to it. I don't care if you hate this weirdo, the show is funny. Ya just gotta trust me on that one people.Yesterday/last night... missed Mark leaving, Called Checky all day and got blown off. F U JAMIE! Well...he's prolly mad because they drunk bowled late Thursday night and we blew them off. Never said we were going actually, but were super tired and ended up at luxor poker hole for some of the worst poker ever. Don't play there if you stay there Tony.Met up with Steve7 later in the evening at the Rio and he was railing Ted Forrest at the Omaha FT. So we just hung out with him, Ted, Anna Worbileski (sp?) andothers til Ted busted. Cashed like 200K or so. Cantu was in the audience with Gavin....he asked about Mark.Tried to text Jamie again...no dice. Bill, Steve and I ended up at Delmonico's at ht e Venetian for some prime bovine. Prolly the best lobster bisque ever and the steak was in the top 3 ever. Just fantastic. Recommend highly.Went over to Bellagio, STeve met up with Oppenheim and disappeared into Bobby's room. Ozi and I sat at a pretty friendly/fun 2-5 game.Pearl Jammer was in seat 7 the whole night and a semi aggro chick (who sucked enough, yet knew enough to make her dangerous) was on my left. So between the 2 Bill and I had our work cut out for us. I got premium cards several times and they held and I made a nice profit early, but then went card dead. I went after a few pots with less than premium hands a few times, but , as you can imagine, there were just not a lot of spots to make moves or see cheap flops with the jammer jamming, like 80% of the hands pre. He ended up getting snapped off many many times though and his aggro style just was not his friend this night, blew through a grand or so in no time. Pretty interesting watching him do his thing, and he was a very friendly dude.Marcel Luske came in a little later and sat at the table right behind me.....and played.....4-8 limit. No...that's four dollars, eight dollars, LOL. bought in for $200 and about 2 hours later was out. Super nice guy and just kicking back having fun. The room was packed and full of whos whos, etc, blah blah.I bought in for 500 and at when I realized the session was just goin no where I cashed out.....499. Ozi got aces cracked and lost 300, to the donkish chick. She his a set on the river. More poker, Carrot Top, try to find Checky, Dustin, etc.... then home tomorrow.coming back again next weekend and possibly one more time for the 4th.woo ooo ooo tuh.

nutzbuster 7
btw, Carrot Top cut his show short tonight. Some stupid blond big mouthed bimbo kept interrupting his show with her own (what she thought was) funny commentary. He finally had had it, and after one final interruption about Barry Manilow still being alive, he just started to crush her with insults. It was so quick and off the cuff, just awesome, and at one point went so far as to call her a stupid fking whore!!!! omg, classic stuff. The chick eventually just slunk down in her chair as everyone was "ooooooooo, oh mah gawding" at her sorry butt. (She deserved every thing she got btw, soooo annoying). He never let up after that... cursing like a sailor, etc. Totally off script and just losing it for the last 10 minutes. Very odd, very awkward, and very funny.
