The ME for timing - even last year they wanted the the POY settled earlier. I suspect they don't count the 50K HORSE because the bigger buy-in makes it less of an "open" event and it carries enough prestige on its own. As DN said in his blog it sets up a (nearly impossible) triple crown with the ME, HORSE and POY. I do think the HORSE should count just speculating why it doesn't. Link to post Share on other sites
