Jordan 1
Wow. I've known about this trip for a while now...and now, 5 hours from my connecting flight to DC...it's finally sinking in.I've always been one to procrastinate, but the reality of my trip is finally hitting me. It's really weird, considering my fiance has been there since January...I don't know...maybe it's just all these emotions finally hitting me, or the fact that I've been packing and preparing myself the last few days, so everything feels more..."real".Anyways, I'm really excited and I'm ready as I'll ever be.I just wanted to bid farewell for the month of June and wish everyone gl @ the series or whatever else you may find yourself doing.I again want to use this to also remind everyone to save some profits from this month and think about donating some % to Asia's Hope. Hopefully come July there will be some sort of charity tournament as well, through Poker Stars. Who knows, maybe Daniel will even play *cough cough*.Haha, anyways. I'm out. Going to do the last few preparations and then start the 30 hour trip across the world. The longest flight is 16 hours...I can't believe it's time. To avoid turning this post into a blog, I'll stop now. Have a good one.- Jordan

Mr. Sparco 2
Have a good trip! I have lived in Africa for two months now, and I can say it's definitely a very interesting continent. I'm looking forward to reading your impressions.(I have written a blogfull of impressions myself, but unfortunately - or perhaps fortunately - they're all in Dutch...) Mercury69 3
1. What's the purpose of your trip?2. I don't think there's any poker out on the Serengeti3. Have a great time. it's an experience of a life-time (not that I would know, never having been, but...)
KentuckySlim 0
Would love to know where you're going. I have been to Kenya briefly and Tanzania for a bit longer to visit my brother (who lived there for two years). Certainly very different than anything I have seen in the States. Safari salama. Jordan 1
Hey guys, I just trying to see if I can check some stuff and it's working a bit now.I'm in Addis with Keturah right now and we are leaving for Tanzania in a few hours...have to catch a ride to the terminal in a second...Anyways, so far the trip been a lot of fun...The money that was given to me + money raised by her church was used to buy a ton of supplies for a lot of people, and some of the money is going toward setting up some sort of support for children orphaned by the violence. It's so different here, much diff. from my experience in Guatemala...everything takes forever to get done...but I really like it and am having fun. We're really excited to go to Tanzania and Zanzibar, although Keturah is sad to leave Nekemte and her friends that she grew so close to. I'd write more but I have to go. See ya guys.- Jordanps -- we're getting married on the 24th or 25th.
