Jackets1407 0
You should have got in touch with Chucksty IMO. His 'guy' in Vegas seemed legit enough, and the quality was decent/on par with what we get locally.Plaschke is annoying on tv, but even more so in print. His writing style consists of one sentence paragraphs, with a quote here and there. His articles are almost always over the top dramatic, and most of the time he is just plain wrong.I can match you re: Dolphins w/ the fact that I'm a 49ers fan, but I'm also a Lakers fan, so I sympathize with you about the Heat.Haha....try being a Falcons fan and a Hawks fan!!! The Braves this year have also made me smoke much much more than I normally do. I have to smoke before every road game just to be able to make it through the whole game. And I play much better high than drunk(I guess most ppl prolly do), I might be the worst drunk poker player ever. ROACHBABY 0
I like to play drunk. I'll play after a night of drinking beer or a little bourbon, but I move down in limits. I'll usually play $2 HU or 6-max turbos or I'll but in SS on a 0.10/0.25 cash game. I really don't do bad at all either. I'm pretty sure that over all I'm a winner when I'm drunk. I think my drunk game is better than the average player at those limits.

gilbertology 0
it's all about what your body is used to. If you've never smoked before and take a toke of some chron it probly isn't the best idea to play but if getting high is part of your daily routine you may play better while stoned. I don't think it's ever a good idea to play when extremely smashed but one or two beers shouldn't make much of a difference

Not that I was super hyped up or scared or anything, and overall it probably made no difference in any results, but it just took the edge off a little bit.
AdamDarv 0
Although playing while I am drinking usually starts out very profitable, it usually ends with me drinking about 10 shots too many and having a losing session. Only time I drink and play is during my home games, these are generally live cash mixed games with $200 buyins and $1 - $2 blinds. At first the drinking makes my play very unpredictable and puts people on tilt as I tend to get paid off, but then it becomes very predictable with the drunk guy bluffing way too often. Best bet is to save the drinking for tourneys where you have a set amount you can lose. And by the way never play online drunk - you will run through your entire bankroll.
