I went out halfway through the 6th level of today's Event 48, $2,000 NLHE. Did not win my first pot until the 1:20 mark. The only pot I won in the last two hours was a steal with 24o...Gawd, this frustrating...7 events, zero cashes.

I busted in level 2 of today's 1500. I raised 44 to 300 at 50/100 blinds, and had 2 callers. Flop AA4, I bet 600 1 caller. Turn 6, I check he bets 600 I shove for about 3000, he calls with AK and rivers the case ace, gg me again.

Well well, how mighty nice of Harrah's to spread 4/8 HORSE on weekdays at 7PM with a $3 max rake.Monday 7PM Harrah's!I'll be wearing my blue FCP hat and probably a red long sleeve team Canada shirt (freakin' cold room)

If Josh wins this life is sooo rigged. He already had his big score at Vegas in the $60 Stratosphere 1am re-entry tourney a just a couple weeks ago.EDIT: Just kidding, obv. gogogogogogo

I finished 48th for like $9600 playing my first and only wsop event. On one hand I can say I've cashed in all three nlhe tourneys I've played this month including that awesome 10 shot minimum Stratosphere re-enter tourney and a 13th place finish in a Venetian $500 that kinda sucked cuz the payout was very final table heavy. On the other hand I should have played more live tourneys and cash games this month instead of reading comics/playing pit games/getting high since I seem to play well and run well in them. In this tourney I played all 6-7 hours of day 2 with David Pham on my right and I felt like I pretty much owned him throughout the day, most likely because I was directly on his left and he was playing pretty aggressive. I reraised him a bunch of times light and felt I picked up some bet size/timing tells on him in other pots. Early in the day I got lucky and doubled thru/eliminated John Murphy with AQ to his AK when the flop came AQ2. That got me to 80k and afterwards I had a nice little rush and was up to 170k at one point with the avg around 75k. After dinner break with blinds at 3k/6k/1k I had about 100k when Kristi "remember when I lost that triple draw hand to you(david pham) with a straight playing 100-200 at commerce and you gave me my money back because I thought a straight was good!" Gazes came to the table with a 25k shortstack. She shoved in lp with K5dd, I reshoved AK from the SB, and she runner runnered a straight. Two rounds later she shoved again for 42k with 55, I called on the button with AJs, and her hand held despite two spades on the flop. With 60k at 4k/8k/1k I shoved A10s in mid position and ran into 10s which crippled me. Next hand I was all in for 4k with 10Jo and failed to quad up. There were many interesting hands I played during the tourney but I'm too lazy to write about them now. One hand where I owned the dragon, it was folded around to him on the button and he raised a little more than usual after thinking a bit to 20k at the 3k/6k level. I valueshipped K high from the SB for 72k total and he tanked and folded getting better than 2-1 with what he told me was 24o. Even tho this was a large field $1500 nlhe event there were a surprisingly high number of pros in the final 50. I got to play with many of them and I learned asians are generally aggressive players :club:.
