fleung22 1
Jesus christ. No wonder you won.according to Artest, Roy is better than Kobe and Wade LOLI gambled a big. D-Williams was injured to start the year and Roy hadn't blown up yet but I loved how the guy was progressing. Bargnani is my Roy pick for next year basically.but seriously, let's get some money into this league. If SuitedAces is broke lets find some sponsorship for the guy...he DOES run the league and has a good record. shouldn't be hard to find buyers. I'd invest myself if it wasn't a conflict-of-interest. fleung22 1
I'm not putting any money into any league I didn't get to draft my own team on.you were the no. 1 seed and you got to pick your keepers! you literally lost by 2 steals dude...do you really hate your team??
BigDMcGee 3,352
you were the no. 1 seed and you got to pick your keepers! you literally lost by 2 steals dude...do you really hate your team??No, it's not an issue of that. IT's an issue of I feel little connection to this team. I'm glad that I did well, and want to be competitive with it, but I'd never feel about this team, the way I would about a team I actually drafted. Also, it's a really old team, that If I committed to backing for years for money, I would start doing very poorly with.

Arenas may turn up to be the greatest steal of the year in 09-10 season for ya.

fleung22 1
I'm going to start my own keeper league. Question. What is the best Keeper League out there? I thought the Yahoo seemed pretty easy to use but thought I'd ask.
BigDMcGee 3,352
If you start one, holla at me.. I'd be interested.. also, is this league on again? Are we ditching inactive players? SUITED WE NEED ANSWERS

fleung22 1
tight keeper league.it's okay bigD. if you REALLY can promise to play for more than a year (so it's an actual keeper) then I think I have a spot on my new Keeper league for you. even tho having u ups the competition quite a bit.give me til Monday as I promised some guys that I'd give them time to decide. Gonna be 10 team league and I have 6 confirmed so good chance ur in.
fleung22 1
Okay, my keeper league is expanding from 6 to 10 teams this year. I still get to keep four players. Clearly Kobe and CP3 are keepers...who are the other 2? I'll strike those I'm not considering. Standard H2H Yahoo format.Marcus Camby Jeff Green Devin Harris Nene Hilario Joe Johnson Chris PaulZach Randolph John Salmons Marcus Thornton Anthony Tolliver David West Mo Williams LaMarcus Aldridge Andray Blatche Kobe Bryant

Standard H2H Yahoo format.Marcus Camby Jeff Green Devin Harris Nene Hilario Joe Johnson Chris PaulZach Randolph John Salmons Marcus Thornton Anthony Tolliver David West Mo Williams LaMarcus Aldridge Andray Blatche Kobe Bryant According to recent ESPN rankings...it should be like this. Overall rank is brackets. Is this right?1. Chris Paul (2)2. Kobe Bryant (6)3. Joe Johnson (25)4. Zach Randolph (36)5. Devin Harris (47)6. Marcus Camby, Nene Hilario, Mo Williams, David West, Jeff Green, Andray Blatche (51-58)I was leaning towards taking Johnson from the beginning because he also fills a lot of positions besides being a fantasy stud. But Zach? I'd rather have a healthy Camby than Zach but that "healthy" part is a tough one.
JoeyJoJo 18
Caveat: I don't know anything about fantasy.Camby will get you a bunch of rebounds and blocks, but you might need to put a little consideration into the fact that Greg Oden is coming back for Portland and will take some minutes away from him. Since both are injury prone (to say the least) Portland will probably want to limit their minutes, but they also want to prove Oden is worth the #1 pick, so he'll get every chance to steal time from Camby. Aside: I'd love to see what a Camby/Oden/Aldridge frontcourt would look like. Just long arms everywhere.
BigDMcGee 3,352
my strat is to load up on power forwards and point guards (preferably that can shoot 3's). SO I'd go Kobe, CP3, Harris and randolph. Joe johnson is a better Real life player, but the sg/sf positions are so easy to fill, unless I had someone redic like kobe, I wouldn't keep a sg/sf. His injuries really worry me on top of the fact he's only had one really great season.I'm quite curious as to how big a role Mo will play without Lebron in CLE and how Blanche will do as the premiere big in Washington. Problem is I really like my core starting 4 to have a pretty solid reliability factor. I'm still trying to decide how much gamble is there.

I'll pray he's around come the 6th round of drafting.

I think randolf is a no brainer, as he's a fantasy machine, much more valuable in fantasy than he is in real life. Harris is probably not good enough to keep over johnson

See Visit My WebsiteI've got 3 more weeks before I have to submit my Keepers but the legal problems worry me for sure. Distracted players are not usually productive unless their name is Kobe.I'm thinking Blatche has so much upside but again...I'd hope that he's available in 6th round or so. Randolph is a master of churning out good fantasy numbers on bad teams. He also usually has playability at C.
