There's a lot of content(videos). So far I've taken a look at Daniel's Custom Course on Hold'em which is highlighted by DN's poker system for beginners as well as his course for intermediate/advanced players(small ball). The site is very easy to navigate.

There are 4 sample videos up now. They are in the Training Features Section1. A Video that's part of Daniel's course on playing Small Ball2. A Video from the live game with Daniel's analysis that contains an Al Smooth sighting. This is the most unique format at Poker VT3. A Video from Adam Juglen final tabling an online tournament4. A Poker Math video from Professor Charley Swayne

Not quite a review....more of an opinion.Initially was willing to make an impulse purchase just for the heck of it. Amex wasn't available so I had to wait. After seeing the intro videos and Daniel playing in Costa Rica during the roll out..... I have decided to wait and see what happens. I'm concerned about:The initial sign-up feeCommitment to the siteReasons for paying a monthly fee and a steep re-signup fee. Will there be monthly additions that justify the ratesI dunno...... it makes me wonder when Daniel is launching a Major Pay Site with his name and face all over it and then says......"I'll be writing a separate blog about PokerVT."To Daniel: When you get around to paying the time and commitment that you ask from me, perhaps I'll pay some money and attention.GL

I'm surprised that you've taken Daniel's statement about writing a separate blog about Poker VT the way that you have. He's in Costa Rica and just played a tourney and a cash game online so he put out a blog about his tournament result right after he finished like he usually does. Poker VT deserves a separate blog and it doesn't make sense to put out one blog a very short time after another. As for his commitment to it Daniel has been working on Poker VT for the better part of a year and will continue to put a lot of time and effort into it. A training site isn't something that is finished being worked on when it launches but in fact the launch is only the start.

Bob,I am sorry that you are surprised. You are an outstanding individual and one hell of a moderator. You have performed above and beyond the call of duty. Hell.... you bailed me out when I didn't have the cash to cover some stakes I'd promised. My name is unknown, but I have been involved and responsible for some rather serious roll-outs myself. And at no time during any of said roll-outs would I have not been on the front lines.... watching everything and trying my best to ensure a good launch. I remember when the FCP poker site launched..... Daniel was there.... answering questions...... watching and being involved. If I were a celebrity (which I NEVER want to be) I would make at least twice the effort to ensure that anything with my name attached to it performed as well as possible.I don't know Daniel.... never met him. But I like him. He seems like a decent person from what I have seen and read.Perhaps Daniel is spreading himself a little too thin. Bob...... you are DA MAN!

You ask a question, here is your answer, hope it makes sense: I had a window to write a blog about PokerVT but in light of a few issues with the N-SPAT (taken care of) and the sample videos not being up yet, I felt it would be better to wait for the sample videos to be available before directing people to the site via my blog. When the sample videos were finally up, I had other things to share and didn't want the long span between blogs to be about something "I'm selling" if you will. I also didn't want the blog about PokerVT to split time with other stuff. I want to make sure I get the blog right and explain in detail what's cool about PokerVT. All of the features, as well as the technology which I think even the competitors would agree is far, far superior to anything else out there at the moment.Make sense? As for me working. On the 27th and 28th I am scheduled to appear on 24 radio shows starting as early as 5:00am. Content is something that I'll be updating personally 2-3 times a week with new videos, Q and A's, as well as adding classic hands to the site.

DN works hard. I was witness to it at Protege 1, and he takes pride in what he does- I expect this VT thing to be as good as it gets. I won't be signing up off the bat, like any new Porn site I personally wait awhile so they get enough content under the belt, then I am in like flynn. See you in Vegas. After golf on friday we will try and track you down and rail for a bit. Good luck in that tourney as well.

Got it on day 1 and have had about 2.5 hours to watch some videos. I have not seen any of Daniels content yet so I cant comment on that. I got Pokervt for improving all my games but right now I need to get better at NLH cash games so thats what I have been concentrating on. I have watched Boosted J's .25/50 NL videos and about half of JC's all the tools series. I know its not much to go on as of yet but I much perfers JC's videos. I think JC is better at explaining why he is doing what he is doing than boosted. I would like to see some more cash game videos with a TAG style but with the same kind of explanation as JC gives in his. Thats what I want to see in a video is the player not just explaining the hand but the hand in the context of the overall game. So far from what I have seen the site is very smooth and easy to use so if the content is there it should be outstanding.

I've waited so long for PokerVT, not signing up for any other site to even check them out so my opinion is certainly biased. I LOVE IT!!!! My plans are to start at the beginner level and look for leaks in my game (already found a few!) and continue to work my way forward. I'm up to "Short Stack Play" at the beginner level but I've also took some time out to check out the other videos. Here's the comments......Daniel's explainations are so simple a fifth grader could get it! Excellent job!Watched two of JC's videos and I enjoyed AND understood his explainations. Great job!Adam.....probably good content but the chewing gum was so distracting that it was all I could focus on. Sorry Adam, lose the gum! That's all so far BUT...........I took what I had learned, sat down at only my second live tourney last night. Made the final table out of 30+ very experienced live players and finished 4th!!!! I'M SOLD!!!!!!

I love the hand analysis section where the players discuss the hands as they're playing them and Daniel analyzes them as well.Of course, I'm such a huge Wasicka fan, I'm a little biased, but I think having him and Kirk talking about their decisions as well as Daniel is huge and will be a great tool for live players.

I don't know, but this sounds kind of douchey to me. Check out other sites and see how much they charge.Sorry he doesn't have the time just for you, I guess.

I just sent this PM to Gallo cause he asked me what I thought so far.I'll go ahead and post it here, not nearly a full review, as it would take me awhile to get to everything, but my thoughts so far:So far I like it a lot. Some cool features and the site is cool obviously. But the content hasn't taught me anything new so far. I've mostly been jumping around trying to get a taste of each different type of thing, different instructors and styles of videos. I really like the live game stuff where they comment as they're making the plays, and then DN gives his own insight as well. Then also right now I just started something similar where DN comments, but without the players commenting as they go, but also the same live game video. I keep finding more and more new stuff every time I look around... I keep thinking that I have at least seen every section, but then I just found this one and had no idea it was there. I do hope that Paul puts more stuff on there though, right now he only has a small section where he talks about some of his hands from the HU championship, and then in the plays where he is in the live game one.Only watched one of JC's vids so far, it was his first one though, so I think he'll improve. I don't think he's used to explaining what he does. Annette seems to really be dedicated to doing a good job, I've only watched 2 parts of her first vid, but I like her enthusiasm. I also like the fact that so far, it seems that her and I play very similar.Haven't watched Adam's or BoostedJ's vids yet.Oh, and there's a nice little thing where DN and Adam played HU on stars, and commented as they went along, and they tie in the audio together... but it's just one HU match and not a lot there. But I like the style of it and if they add more it should be good. And then there's the math section. I haven't even gotten into it, but I did watch just the intro, and I'm pretty sure that section is going to be pretty amazing if I can follow along. I hate math, but it seems like it should a strong area.I'll tell ya, when I first signed up, It didn't seem like there was a ton of content, but the more I look, the more I seem to find. It's at least worth the 90 bucks to check out I think. Plus Al smooth gets ripped on by DN almost every time he plays a hand. :club:

First week is almost over i gues. Interesting what will be aded now as promised (mean weekly updates). Hope pokervt team understands how important is good start and will not wait a mont to add new videos. So far wached almost all videos and lessons. Daniels is superb, Adam has some difficulties explaining him self. In A&Q its seems he is nervous a lot when have to speak in front of camera. And difference expaining him self its quite obvious in his and Daniels hu mach (amazing idea by the way - hope Paul and Daniel will play that way soon). Annete and Paul are great, just hope to see more and more of them. Was little concerned when read Paul blog - he wrote that was involved with pokerVT few month ago. Hope its not the only time. JC Alvarado's videos are nice to, but i am not cash game specialist, so i gues its difficult to judge. Was little surprised to see pro with 16K banckrol on FTP (just kidding obviuosly, maybe he reloads it often). JC promised hu videos - think it will be great.P.S. Daniel, your hu strategy is interesting, but dont you think that you simply give up to much playing out of position? I mean out of position has its own advantages. For example you can bluff first, you can use leveradge (dont know speling sorry) more effective and most important play strongly overal. Now your hu scenarious are prety similar and you have to fight back from beeing outchiped when blinds go up almost in all hu vidoes. And this is becous of folding. Dont need answer, just my ideas. You can try to explain it in your videos.
