KingJames 11 Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 I'm very angry wth myself.I sat down with 4 friends after work tonight to play .1/.25 NLTwo bust out and don't rebuy in the first 40 minutes... thanks for the contributions...3 handed, we start playing choice... Holdem Stud PLOI'm up from my $20 buy in to about $35...Pineapple, 5 card omaha discard after the flop, PL 5 card triple draw, 6 card omaha discard one before and one after the flop... etc...I proceed to dump $20 calling with 2nd nuts after 2nd nuts...Final had 6 card Omaha after the flop I have AK52 left on a flop of AKT and both villains have QJ and I brick out at making a full house...I'm upset that when the game went from that which I could beat to that which favored the lucky or someone who knew these games better I wouldn't walk away...It's not the money it's the game selection... KingJames 11 Posted May 16, 2008 Author Share Posted May 16, 2008 High Card for $$ would have been just as effective...I suck at game selection... all starts out good with a nice dealers choice game with legitimate games and 4-5 hours later people get bored and want to play pineapple, black maria and then it turns into donkfest and I should pack up at leave at that point... it's late and it's just gambling...I'll learn one dayJames Link to post Share on other sites
