Vegas King 0
Well, I have just invested about $16,000 into some WSOP events not including all the hotel, car, and flight costs. I have been blown away by all of the tournaments being held during the WSOP including the Golden Nugget, Binions, Caesar's, Venitian, and the Bellagio Cup. I have been since 1998, and the growth has been something to see. I have a bad feeling that this is going to be the beginning of the decline. Some of the recent big events have been coming up short to the number of players in past events. I am sure the WSOP will still do well, and the payouts should be great. I think the smaller tournaments are the ones that will suffer. Personally I really enjoy the Venitian events as they do not destroy the bankroll and the payouts are quite nice. I do not see how the others will survive or be profitable for the casino or the players.I also hope the cash games are strong. I have really enjoyed success in the 5/10 NLH and especially the 50/100 7card hi/low game. Any one know what limits will be played at the Bellagio for 7 card during the series or if anyone else will be spreading this game other than the Rio?I am trying to stay positive, but with the sucking economy and housing markets, I hope we are not all disappointed with what Vegas actually offers this summer. Whatever the case, I will be there ready to build my retirement fund. I just hope thousands of newbie 21 years old suddenly appear with pocketfuls of cash.Would be nice if the Mirage event was still around....it is going to be a long slow May....Good Luck!!!!
