Need Help Finding A Place To Live

Recommended Posts

Phoenix is a terrible choice. Lived out there for a few summers and the heat is absolutely brutal. I'm from San Diego, so I'm partial to the weather, live poker, night scene, activities that we have here. If its between SD and PHX, its not even close. Are you guys planning to play live in PHX and are 21? You could definitely get a great rental out here... and I could finally give Grinder a bear hug in real life.

I like the responses so far. I haven't looked at the places yet, but the enthusiasm is encouraging. Keep them coming, and don't be afraid to enter a new city into the mix.Grinder's a tight ass, but I'll obv pay.

all 3 of you dropping out? How long?
mine's not official. That's why we put St. L on the list of places. If we found a tight place here I could stay in school for at least one more semester. I'm not sure if I want to leave or not, it's a big commitment and if I do, I have no support from family, etc.If there's a great place and a solid plan for what we're going to do, however, I'm willing to give it a semester off and take a shot. I'd def prefer St. Louis, but Idk how Baxter and MJ feel about that

Why don't you guys pick a place/city where it's 18+ to gambool if you're actually going to do this?Edit: I guess I don't know your exact ages or whatnot or how soon you turn 21.

You don't want to live in Seattle. No internet poker in Washington. Lol, I have a 4 bedroom house in the Missoula area but don't think you want to drop that far out. The price is pretty good though - current renter (a pain in the ass) is paying $632 a month. But she's going to be leaving soon. Lol but even though Missoula is a college town it's not very big and it's far away from any big city (nearest is Spokane).Edit: One plus to Montana is even though the drinking age is 21, the gambling age is 18. And 18 year olds can play in casinos but just can't drink.

No internet poker in Iowa either, and I cash out just fine. Gigabet is from Iowa as well and never got caught.Ummmm......lol @ picking Montana bc "gambling age is 18." Many other states where gambling age is 18.

You don't want to live in Seattle. No legal internet poker in Washington but no one has ever been prosecuted or gotten in any trouble what so ever for it. I have a 4 bedroom house with 3 empty bedrooms. I live in Perris, Ca. 1 hour from LA, 30 minutes from Pechanga (giant room, somewhere around 50 tables), 80 minutes from San Diego, just over 3 hours to Vegas.Rooms are yours for $600 a month each, $700 per room if 2 want to share a room. That includes your share of all utilities.

Chicago is the absolute nuts for 20 somethings....But if you don't like cold winters I guess San Diego would be cool too.
Chicago was one of the first places I looked. I think it's a bit too expensive to get a really nice place, though.and we're 19somethings for the next few months.
