he was still dealt into the hand so he still got the table share. the only thing he lost by folding was the possibility of winning the hand, which obv. would have paid him way more. but the old 24o ended up not being a winning hand anyway, so really he lost absolutely nothing by folding.am i wrong here?
Results-oriented thinking imo.

yes and they would have won $100,000.
That would be a sick feeling that would take a long while to get rid of.As for Hachem...Of all the hands to put his opponent on, how did he come to think it was 8 5? You would think after the raise and re-raise and hachem holding a straight he would be forced to call there.

Morgan thought he had the best hand. Hachem read Morgan for having the best hand. So he was right in a way.
Like when Doyle folded his flush to Jamie Gold's lower flush on HSP. He read Gold for having a monster, but his read was really that Gold thought he had a monster.Hachem's laydown was pretty bad, though. If he had thought the hand through, and if he had ever seen Morgan's bluffs from the USPC (even though Morgan thought he held the better hand), he should have made the call, obviously.

How does this change how his table will play against him for the next couple hours?

I first thought it was with Tilly when she folded the full house on PAD, then I remembered she just checked it, she didn't fold it.
That was the worst check in history.

It's terrible, honestly. He obv has a set here, Jordans not raising preflop with 85 getting 2 calls, and checking an A high flop esp when he has a gutshot.Hachem should have just called the 12k, and gotten it in on any non board pair.

Sure, but this is going to effect the how people play hands against him for a couple hours, yes?

that was a pretty good laydown from doyle, because yes, jamie thought he was out front by a mile and everything gold did made doyle think he was behind. and even if doyle was ahead, there was still another card to come, and there was potential to lose a lot more money if he called and was wrong.
