Just finished 4th in a $12 45 turbo, busted with A10<A4 then AQ<A7 against the same dude. Decent cash at least. Maybe I can hit some 180's tonight, although I borrowed my friend's wii so my wife and I will be battling Mario Kart for hours probably, lol. Link to post Share on other sites

david_keena 0 Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 Weelcome Kobealso just wanted to say i went and played a live donkament at the local casino last night $40 buy in 47 players 5K starting stack payed to 5th i got an early lead (just picked of the fish as usall) was at a tripple stack by 1st break 1 hour in. i kinda hovered from there then made it to FT was all-in a few times to make money. I had 45K at 3/6K blinds UTG i raise to 20K standard for table was still 3BB i was the only 1 giving a discount. a guy calls all-in for 18K then chip leader shoves for about 80K. well he is hte type of guy who can not hold back his emotions, u know the guy that when he bets or raises he gets that happy look like he just got done getting a great BJ? well hes the guy so i tank for a bit and fold AQ now remember I raised to 20K when my stack was 45K so i just lost roughly 1/2 my stack. well BJ has KK and other shove had AJ, also this was for bubble. KK holds and we are in the money. plays a few more rotations nothing big we get down to 3 handed. chip count is roughly 24K me, 30K other low stack and chip leader about 140K. when out of no were CL asks if we want to chop evenly 3 ways. well us 2 being low stacked jump all over it and we all walk away with $332 so not a bad night.
