Zephire 0
I'm guessing 7 or 8 tables for the deepstack. Could be more though, as we had well over 300 people through the doors yesterday.Leaving now for the event, will check back later.

CrookedLink 0
Chicago Charitable Games is at The Odeum in Villa Park today. We had a great turn out last night, and I'm sure it'll be even busier today. We're also running a $200 Deepstack with 15k chips / 20 minute levels starting at 4pm. $100 2nd Chance to follow at 7:30 if anyone is in the tourney mood before the WSOPC enters town.Hope to see some of you out there, starts at 2pm.RyanChicago Poker Live Can you tell me why these events are always so freakin south of the city and never in the northern suburbs.I actually like CCG's tourney structures a lot better than the ones offered by Rockford Charitable Games but Rockford actually holds events up here around Niles, Skokie, Des Plaines etc.

Fluffdog87 2
4 User(s) are reading this topic (1 Guests and 1 Anonymous Users)2 Members: matchstix, Fluffdog87Fluffy you coming down for the wsop? I am flying to Turning Stone in NY for the $5k HPT on fri.I am going to Chi. for the WSOP Circuit prelims and $5k ME on Fri. the 24th and leaving after the $5k ME.I plan to play the Majestic Star Casino $2k event on Sat Oct. 25.I am then going to play the most of the nl WSOP Circuit Event prelims at the Horseshoe and some non-nl events if I bust early in some of the events.http://www.cardplayer.com/tournaments/event_list/2365The structures looked solid so it looks like fun!I am most likely staying at a hotel near the casino. I am hoping to meet and hang out with a lot of the FCP Chicago crew when I'm there! Is there any planned fcp stuff going on?Does anybody have any good pictures of the Horseshoe casino? MJINK3 0
Hey Justin look forward to meeting you. I doubt I would be able to make any FCP outing during the circuit as we've been told to expect plenty of overtime during the circuit. You need to check on the hotel at Majestic and Ameristar(Old Resorts) ASAP as the ones right around the Horseshoe are booked up already. Or I have heard alot of players are staying downtown and taking shuttles in which there are many. Check out the Horseshoe site for shuttle info if that floats your boat. Only like a 25minute ride. Zephire 0
It's our first time venturing into the city, so hopefully we'll get at least 50 for the MINI deepstack. We've been running BIG Deepstacks the last couple weekends, those may be more up your alley Suited_Up. $200 buy in, 30 min levels 15k chips to start. Not sure when the next one of those is, but our mini deepstacks have an excellent structure still with a lot of play early on.Hope you can make it out.
fright101 0
I will be playing the MINI. I was going to go to the Shoe but this is so much closer. I will also be splashing the pot in the cash games. Who all is going? Drinks after?
