KoRnholio 2
Preflop raise is too big. You don't need to raise to more than 7500 here. As played that is tough because nearly 1/3 of your stack is in already.
throwemaway 0
Raise to 5 or 6K and it plays much differently..If you still get shoved on and then called by another player, easy easy foldTake out results
copernicus 0
Raise to 5 or 6K and it plays much differently..If you still get shoved on and then called by another player, easy easy foldTake out results^^ 5k is standard, I might go to 6k with a middle pocket pair to discourage callers
qyayqi 11
agree on the bet sizing. 5050 is my standard at 1k/2k. your bet says, "i don't like my hand THAT much, so i'm betting bigger to get folds." i see the oversized pf raise lots with small pairs that don't want to play post-flop. BeaverStyle 1
I agree w/ most here.. standard hand, raise to 5-6k, fold w/ the overshove and overcall. AQ doesn't play well against 2 players, especially one who cold-calls a raise-re-raise push.
TravisG 0
yeah, way too big raise. the thing is: This is a 4.40. raising to 5500 accomplishes the same thing as a raise to 10000. okay, pair of deuces might not call your pf raise that often, but generally, players who just want to see a flop will just call and players who want to get more money in will reraise, no matter how much you make it. some scared players might fold hands that they'd normally call with pf (ATo like hands), but you don't want those hands to fold anyways. as played i still fold. i don't like copernicus suggestion of making it a little more to discourage small pp's because that's quite a heavy betting pattern tell, but players at those limits probably don't look for that anyways, so its fine too.
