Roi / Percentage Of Time In The Money

Recommended Posts

Online the ceiling of true ROI% is around 225-250% but that's literaly about the .000001% of players who can acheive that.It depends a lot on what buy in levels you're talking about as well, anything over 40% over the long term in almost any buy in level is pretty awesome.

Return on income. If you play a $10 tournament and profit $5 on average, you have a 50% ROI

Actually its return on Investment, not income. profit/total buyinsI think 200%-300% i the right order of magnitude. Ive read somewhere that the big tourney pros look to win about 2 buyins on average, but the occasional huge payoff skews the ROI upward from there.

Yeh that was a typo, that's for correcting. There's a thread on 2+2 about the profitability of playing WPT events and it was kind of accepted that the ROI for the top live players playing WPTs is a lot higher(300%+) than it is for the online players.
