omg puke at his aggression factor. How many hands is that over?I'm not sure we can fold for nearly 4:1 with top two when he could have AT, AQ, bricked hearts without a jack, etc.If these stats are over a decent amount of hands, I think I still might fold though. He basically never bets, and he shoved. I personally expect this to be bricked hearts with a jack or AJ like always though if his sample size is decent.Personally, I just put him all in on the river though. He'll call with worse than a straight, and we don't get put in a tough situation if he shoves when we check either.

This hand is pretty gross, you're getting some good odds to call with top two but his aggression factor is so low...I'd probably call because of the odds we are getting, he could have hit a worse two pair or be bluffing missed hearts. I would expect him to have the straight alot though.

If we're going to get our money in regardless, aren't we better off committing to check-calling his shove since we give him the chance to bluff inferior hands? If we shove, we're getting called by the straight and pretty much almost nothing we beat.

You have to look at his aggression factor. With 0.3, is he really ever going to bluff this river? Ever? Will he (as a calling station with like no PF raises and no aggression) call a river shove with AQ/AT/Ax? Maybe, and for AQ/AT, most certainly. Checking lets you get away since he's basically never going to bluff, but the price will be too nice to call his shove, so you have to put it in anyway. Therefore, I would bet it myself.I think that recently a lot of players have been leaning towards setting up a bluff catcher rather than betting for value. You guys have to realize that people at low stakes are much more willing to CALL off their stacks, than to BET off their stacks. Especially people with pretty much 0 aggression.

I agree with NoBBiR. Villain will call with a lot of hands that he'll check behind with, and if we check to villain and he bets, I think we have to call, even with villain's low af. If villain had an af of 3 instead of 0.3, you could make a case for c/c river.

Makes sense. I think that's one part of my game I really have to improve... compensating for aggression factor. Thanks for the reply.
