IBFT 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 I would lead the turn or river, if he pushes, you fold. Playing it like this, its hard to tell if BB has a queen or if BB sees that you're somewhat sheepish of the board and wants to push you off the pot. Link to post Share on other sites

To me, on the river I'd rather C-C a shove then lead out since it gives him a chance to bluff (I didn't commit to calling on the river, but I checked to see if he'd shove or not). There is still value betting the bottom end of the straight, two pair type hands will call sometimes and if he picked up a diamond draw he will call.If he raises on the turn, he would have to be pretty brave/stupid to raise a 4 to a straight board with less than a Q, so I think we can safely muck.
