Anyone Use Gemaco Cards In Their Home Game?

Recommended Posts

I just purchased 2 decks online after doing some research...they get decent reviews and are moderately priced. I got the jumbo-sized poker edition Gemaco Star version. I currently use Copags and needed some more cards to get into the rotation. Anyone's experience with these cards would be appreciated.

Does this mean you're cards is huge? I picture 6 old guys with observatory-lens-sized glasses holding cards the size of dinner plates and talking about how nice the big cards are.
GRRRRR I cant tell if this is spam or not!

You can have the beer. I take one of the two blondes. Preferably the slutty one.
I dunno which one you think is the slutty one, but I bet you the top one puts out more.

I use Copags myself and am very happy with them. Why not get more Copags for your rotation? No likey?
Wait a minute...an actual response to my question? Curious. :club: I like the Copags ok...they seem slippery and not quite as substantial as KEMs. And the face isn't distinct in coloring.

But Copags are better than Kems for the price, imo.In my home game we actually stopped using plastic cards, so now we play mostly with Bicycles.

Can I ask why you stopped playing with plastic cards?
Plastic ones are more durable and all...But it's something about the feel. None of us can, like, do magic [bycicles are used by a lot of magicians, if I'm not mistaken], but we just like it. One of us actually has a collection of over 50 different decks, most of which are Bycicles. That good feel does wear out rather quickly, though. We just don't mind buying more decks.Come to think of it, I don't really care much. I do like the feel, but when we're playing, I don't really care about the cards as long as they're not damaged. Plus, with a guy that has dozens of decks, I'm not the one buying them for us to play. I already provide the chips.
