Personally I would play 3 $1500/$2000 ish events, use about $1000 - $1500 for travel and accomodations/food etc, add the other $5000 to my bankroll
Same here.

I'd buy into the 10k ME if I had 11k to my name. Not only are the players so bad and the structure so decent that your ROI in this particular tourney is probably 2 or 3x better than your regular ROI, but it's a huge shot at other opportunities like exposure and sponsorships, especially if you're already wearing stars stuff. imo there's much more value in this tourney than in the any other tourney. Not to mention the fact that Stars gives incentives that might make u a couple grand on the side, like making it to day 2 or 3 or whatever.

Seriously, guys, so someone who doesn't speak fluent English tries to post and gets flamed for it?And just because he can't type fluent English means he OBVIOUSLY didn't win a seat, and its all BS?Come on...quit being asshats.DM, I think you should do whatever you feel most comfortable with. Some people look at it as a once in a lifetime opportunity. I know you have been on a very, VERY hot run lately. If spending 10k of what you just won is too much, then don't do it. If it is the "once in a lifetime" opportunity, then go for it.
I can always count on Fargo for beating me to the punch! WTF??? Is there something DM has done to ya'll to cause such BS? And to answer DM's question......look at the big picture. Is this cash right now in your account life altering? The package offered by PS would be a trip of a lifetime for most, would it be for you? Myself personally, if I was playing as well as you are right now, I'd take the trip and enter the ME, TPMM and then write books play golf like that guy that owns this website. If I'd had any idea so many of ya'll were gonna win this ME tickets, I'd have skipped the WPT and saved my trip for the WSOP. Hell, if I can win big be a friend to someone that wins big at the WPT, I may just go back to see ya'll in the ME!!!

If you are looking to play as pro/semi pro I would treat the money as part of my bankroll.... If I just played for fun I would play some smaller events, make it a vacation and if i had made enough money by the time the ME rolled around I would possibly hop in... Me, I'd just enjoy the money...

I would take the money and try to win a bunch of it on the roulette table, at least double it up. Then I'd play a $1,500-3,000 event and enter the ME as well. But, I like to gamble. Haha.
