jmbreslin 0
I'm trying to figure out the fastest way to accumulate FPPs in a short period of time. The games I tend to play are:$3 turbo NLHE SnGs ($3.25 6-max, $3.25 45-turbos, and $3.40 10-mans).02-.05 or .05-.10 6-max NLHE cash.02-.05 PLOStars awards 5 FPPs for every $1 in tourney fees. For cash games, the first FPP is awarded if the rake reaches $0.40 with a second FPP awarded for a rake reaching $2 (at 6-max tables). That would mean the pot would have to reach $8.00 for the rake to reach $0.40 (the rake is $.05 for each $1 in the pot), which is not very common at .02-.05. Does that mean that no FPPs are awarded for pots less than $8.00? If so, that would make SnGs a much more efficient way to accumulate FPPs at this level of play, no?
grocery_mony 8
At those stakes the sng pbly best bet. Not to many pots at .02/.05 nl get to the .40 rake. Not sure about the plo though.
jmbreslin 0
PLO definitely gets up there more than NLHE at these stakes.Unless I'm missing something, it looks like the $3.40 10-mans are the best option. I could play hours of 6-max NLHE at those stakes and not accumulate 5 FPPs.
Flushgarden 0
1/2 6 max LHE You get almost 1 point per hand if you're silver star.

Sheiky 0
When you're playing $3 turbos i don't think FPP points should really be that big of a concern, they just don't accumulate enough to be worth anything unless you play A LOT in which case you'd have a BR to play bigger SNGs anyway. jmbreslin 0
I'd like to accumulate more to play some of those 40+R FPP WSOP sats.
xzanos 0
You should focus more on making money at poker rather than perks such as rakeback and fpp's. Instead of trying to save up your fpp's for that play poker like the pros book, just win 3 3.25 sng's and go buy it.

matdiddy22 0
I love how people throw in their own suggestions and comments on something that wasn't asked, just something they decide they should throw in after they assume something for themselves. Of the choices you gave, the SNGs are a much better way to accumlate FPPs.Good Luck accumulating those.

xzanos 0
You clearly missed the point of my post, but thanks anyway.Pretty sure your post was to decide what to play in order to get the most fpp's. I was suggesting that what you play should be based on what you win the most at. I hope you enjoy your Moneymaker poster and Pokerstars mousepad.

CodyHartman 0
yeah Jm you are correct to assume that you will earn more garunteed by playin Sng's. You may get pots above $8 in some pots but prolly not enough. To really start earning play 10 PLO or higher. I really started FPP's when I started playing .50/1 LHE.gl man
timwakefield 68
Single table turbo sngs are the path to fpps. 4 at once works out to about 6-8 games an hour (I think), and 8 at once would be double that.

I'm going to cut back on the $3.25 6-maxes and 45-turbos and focus on the $3.40 STTs. My ROI is better in those anyway.
