kafkapoe 0
I think daniel has been a multi-million dollar downswinger since 2006. Ever since that video blog where he talked about losing 1 million dollars in one night it has been downhill for him. I am aware that he is a genius businessman so money will never be a problem. But even his sharkscope is disturbing. You can check my pokerroom.com and pokerstars.com to see my stats. I just started on pokerstars so my sample is small, but Daniel is the reason I signed up there so his promotional fees have been more than worth it I am sure.I am just wondering why he stopped his result updates. The obvious answer is mega losses in the big cash games and getting smacked around all over online. He doesn't seem to play the other tournaments in the 10k events, I know he does not have the time, but perhaps that is what is hurting him because he used to have the time. Daniel and Obama would greatly dislike opposition to change.I suppose when either one of them starts paying my bills or passing out handjobs at my every whim, I might consider their opinion on a day to day basis.Edit: Or walking my dogs. That'd be a step in the right direction.
whatgreatis 0
OP, why do you think DN has lost millions since 06? How can you possibly track that? If I all of a sudden stopped posting results in the monthly goals thread that doesn't mean I'm life busto. I'm sure it's not the case for DN either.

kafkapoe 0
I am just looking for honest answers. Who is Daniel beating in poker? In big live cash games he is clearly a multi-million dollar loser. In 10k multis he might be in the positive, but on this I am unsure. Online in both cash, HU, single tables, and multi-tables he is a big loser. So where is the profit coming from other than business ventures?

So where is the profit coming from other than business ventures?Cite your sources, since it's so "clear". He was whupping the Big Game for a long time before that big hit, and since then he either isn't playing high-limit live or he just isn't talking about it anymore. His tournaments are probably largely freerolls (thanks Pokerstars) so he doesn't have the buyin expenses to worry about, and yes, online he gets killed just like a lot of other live pros. Even if he does ever go poker busto, the line to stake him will be out the door.

I'm just wondering where you're seeing the sum of his wins/losses in high limit live cash games to be certain that he's a multi-million dollar loser in said cash games the past 12-15 months. kafkapoe 0
For total results analysis you can start by taking his listed tournament wins and subtracting the million dollar loss we know about, and the losses we have seen on high stakes poker. That would be a good starting point for the 2006 and up discussion. Nothing would please me more to learn that a man I admire, and am greatly thankful towards for sharing so much with the poker community and the world, was indeed in the black since his steady postings of results ceased at some point in 2006.
