Shooting a porn was the first thing that came to mind, I'd say I have a ~35% chance of being right.

Going to be in and around Attitash/Eastern Slope from 21st-30th. I'll see if I can get away at some point, but tbh it will probably prove awkward to organise. It's >200 miles to Foxwoods, and I'm the only person in the group who has any interest in poker at all (oh, and I don't drive so I can't easily scoot down myself).

Well, I didn't even bother to set goals in February because I was thinking seriously about quitting poker. I'm in a little better place than that now, so on with March:1. Low-end: Be profitable at 2/4 for a minimum of 10 BI just to be making some progress. High-end: Make at least $5,000 each for my staker and myself.I could easily best the high-end estimate if I run well, but that's about the highest I have confidence I can do without getting some luck. Those $10K months at 1/2, I was running pretty smooth and lucking into some ridic soft games as well that are pretty tough to find.2. Put in 30,000 hands total playing PLONot even going to try for a low-end high-end type thing here as when I put in too many hands, I lose a little bit of my edge and start getting sloppy. If anything, I should make it another goal that I don't play more than 50K hands.3. Spend more time thinking theoretically about the game and plugging my leaks. When I was running well, I really had the attitude that "I don't have any leaks; I can beat anyone that's not at least a 5/10 or 10/20 reg, there's no point working on my game". After two months at -0.5 PTBB/100 though, I've definitely found some spots I can work on. My C-betting frequency OOP after a 3-bet is way off and my bet/call range against short stacks is too light too. There are other smaller leaks too such as 3-betting a little too much, not folding enough against passive players, etc. Definitely have some things I need to work on.

februarycv9.jpgFebruary Summary:17k hands+$252 in NLHE play+~$200 rakeback+~$100 in cleared bonuses/bonus pointsOverall, I am really pleased with my play this month. A disappointing way to finish my last two days, however - a couple coolers, KK<AA on back to back hands, and chasing one of my fav. donks unsuccessfully up at a 100NL game. I spent a lot of time studying the game and improving, and I am very pleased with my consistent dedication to getting better. Still a ton to improve on, thus...March goals:No monetary goal, just want to focus on playing well all the time I am sitting at a tablePlay 25k hands at 6max 25NL, 50NL, and maybe selective 100NL shots towards the end of the month Finish rereading HOH 1 & 2 and continue my studying/improvingCheer my ASU Sun Devils to the Sweet 16 :)gogogogogogogogogogo March!

You can still cross the border with just licence and birth cert. (we did it yesterday to go to the Sabres/Habs game) - only need passport if you're flying in.

Yeah, but I'd probably be flying out of Thunder Bay... maybe. I suppose I could drive to MSP.Either way, I still would like to get a passport ASAP, I've been putting it off for too long now.

Absolute:--------$265.......(+115)Bodog:----------$322........(-28)Pokerstars:------$167.......(+17)FullTilt:-----------$10...........00000000 focking $26 Tokens. :club::D:D Was up to about $500 at Bodog until I decided to become the worst PLO8 player on the interwebs!!! Taking a break from that game for a while.I finally had a decent month at AP which was a relief after losing more than half my roll there, cashing out and dropping down. I don't keep track of how I do in each variant of poker but I'm pretty sure I took it on the chin in 6-max LHE at AP. Need to start reading the SHLHE forum a little more and see if I can turn it around.Just got my tax refund and my vacation check for +7K. Probably go to Vegas for a week around WSOP time and start looking at condos and speak to reps from the union about how things are out there. And maybe play a little of this "poker" game you guys are always talking about. :)Oh yeah, I fell asleep and missed the AP $15K monthly freeroll, which I was gonna win, obviously.

It's looking like Tuesday or Thursday of next week is when we'll get the match done. My opponent's in LA this weekend and I'm going to be busy most of Monday afternoon/evening.

It's a 5 hour drive for me. :(While I'd love to watch the Foxwoods Poker Classic ME, I can't - I'd be back in class by the time the WPT rolls around though. If I called and reserved a room tomorrow or Monday, how soon would it be available? I'd love to get up there for some limit games. We've already talked about Stud Hi tables, but if you have any information on Foxwood's LHE, Stud 8/Razz (if they spread them as standalone games) or O8 (I really really suck at all things Omaha, but I'll play it if there's a bunch of dumbasses), IM me - I won't go higher than 5/10 though.
