I get Aces and 3 bet an UTG raiser. Then it gets capped AND OVERCALLED FOR 4 COLD before it even gets back to the 2-better.Because I didn't make the cap which would really narrow my range, is there any merit to considering a bit of slow play since my hand is disguised and there's likely to be at least one AK out there? jmkiser 0
You can't check the flop because you don't want it to get checked around. CO is last to act and there is no sign that he is going to bet out on this flop. We can't be terrified of the diamonds, but you have to punish draws with 5 people to this flop. You're the last person to bet on the turn, so you have to do it for value. Pray that someone has a 7 and comes along for the ride. As much as this is a good card for you, it can also be a very bad card for you in terms of building a bigger pot. What you took down at the end is probably all you were going to get.The river is perfect, of course. This hand was played optimally. I don't see any other areas or possible plays in which to extract more value.Nice hand

mattb5 0
I dont like slowplaying here on the flop with 5 people in the hand and three people in front checking to you. You have to lead out. If you dont and the CO checks behind, you lose bets.
Frez 0
Bet if you like money.Obv this is the line I took, just wondering if I check the flop if that will open it up for someone to take a pop at the turn. What if I was in the BB and was 2nd to act, instead of 2nd last to act? Would anyone check there?
Roo6339 0
In the BB I'd bet hoping to get called in a lot of spots and hopefully raised.
Zach6668 513
I'd check in the BB and expect UTG to bet, so we can c/r the field. If we happened to take this flop HU with UTG, I would be more inclined to slowplay (although still probably not), but with 5 people seeing this flop, there's WAY too much value to give up by checking, imho. MovingIn 0
If checked to you, you should always bet the flop when you flop a monster, if for no other reason than because your fold equity goes up on the turn once the bets double. If an opponent won't call a bet on the flop, it's more likely he won't call a double bet on the turn.Don't worry about losing customers multiway. You're always going to lose most of them. Flops usually miss people.
Mattnxtc 0
With all the callers preflop, I cap pre always. So much dead money to be had at that point. Then just keep betting.
