against an unknown in a $50 tournament I fistpump call this. If he had of shoved flop I would consider folding, as in my experience donktastic tourney players like to either "slowplay" all streets or just shove it in when they think they have the best hand. If he has AA/KK or a set here then he has taken the former approach on the flop and the latter on the turn (unless he has 77). IMO donks are generally consistent in the approach they take (in that they will either "slowplay" by flopping a set , checking flop and turn and making some gay small bet on river, or fastplay by overshoving flop with a set). That is a bit garbled but basically I would call because I don't think he has played the hand in a way that a donk plays a big hand. He has played it like a donk who is thinking pre ZOMG I has AK I will min 5-bet this sucker, o noes I missed the flop, oh sweet villian checked behind I can steal it on the turn with a quick overshove. TBH I think you are good >50% of the time.

FWIW if you agree with me then his range has to be weighted towards AK. I am weighting against JJ/KK/TT based on the reasoning I posted above

I fold.. but im probably just calling his 3 bet pre.
Same. Also, he's much more likely to 5 bet bigger/shove pre with AK as well as shove or bet/commit the flop with AK. The min 5 bet pre/flop check means you're never good enough of the time to call 2000 to win 3100ish imo.He saw a safe flop and went for a C/R with AA, maybe KK, whiffed and decided to shove turn instead of betting like 800, getting called, and seeing a gross river like an 8 or J.

I check/call flop alot in these situations cuz it gets really tricky to play when we get called on the flop. I think as played you can either check and most likely give up on the hand if there's action behind or bet/fold like 1450. Really just read based after we get called by 2 opponents. Anything on villains would help with turn decision.

pretty much my thoughts he argues his m was 5 ish so its "clearly" a shove but with blinds passing in a cpl hands he still has plenty to open shove with i said he blew up got impatient . would of liked a few more responses but meh 2 good ones i guess
actually shoving is pretty decent here imo and I probably like it better than raise/folding.fold>shove>2.5x
so fold is obv better than open shoving ?

Yeah, everyone I've asked so far likes c/c flop, but then how do we play the turn? C/f, c/c again.. I just hate that I'll never know where I'm at in the hand, which is kind of why I led out flop. But these situations come up all the time and I never know what to do. I feel so lost these days.
