I would play it different in that I would bet the turn but call the river. Makes no sense that he would love that 8 unless he had the 9T of diamonds.

Unless he has 910 diamonds he doesn't have a straight unless he's real bad. Buying in for 50BB makes me wonder though.I time down and fold. I don't think he's check/calling and checking the turn with a worse 2 pair and doing this with one pair is AWFUL. IMO it's a bluff, set, or 910 diamonds.

I was going to bet the turn, but my kicker sort of sucked so I elected not to and keep it small since I was in position and I wasn't sure what two cards he could have since it was a blind battle...probably why there wasn't enough information for me to feel good about having to decide whether to lay this down or not.

Im not sayin fold, I just don't feel real comfortable, thats all I wouldn't put him all in, I'd probably just call the reraise as played. I guess he could have 78, what exactly are you putting villain on that he would play like this and we beat?
