If they took anything then I would tip nothing unless the dealer or dealers were really good. seacucumber 2 Posted February 11, 2008 Share Posted February 11, 2008 In the tournaments that I've played, the tournament directors have consistently suggested tipping of between 3%~5% of the winnings. You might also want to find out before you tip whether any portion of the prize pool has been deducted from the total pool. For example, I think Harrahs (starting this year?) deducts 3% from the prize pool for dealers and staff so if you tip 3% on top of that you would be tipping 6% which is considered quite generous according to the tournament directors I've dealt with.
