wow. brady could be done for the year.
As somebody who has torn an ACL, judging by the way he was walking after he got over the initial shock and being scared I don't think its torn. Not saying there's nothing wrong, but Id wager that its not a season ender.

If the Chiefs werent woefully inept on offense they could have won that game by 10 points.
The Chiefs played well. The Patriots offense looked so explosive before Brady went out. They were pretty much doing whatever they wanted. After that it was just average. If Brady is gone for the rest of the season the Patriots will eek into the playoffs at 10-6. If he is ok they will be the best team in the nfl again.

Yes of course. My statement was after the fact with Brady injured. But I dont know if you can say 10-6 without Brady. It wouldnt surprise me if you miss the playoffs if he's out for the year.

I don't know if I'd go that far. The first Pats possession was a quick punt until the penalty gave them a second chance..and then our D forced the fumble. The next Pats possession the Pats had a couple nice throws before Moss gave the ball away. Losing Brady certainly hurt the team.......but I wouldn't say they looked explosive.....Brady was pressued a couple times (including the injury)..and Cassell played pretty well...I don't think the game would've been a blowout if Brady and our QB Croyle had both stayed healthy.

Losing Brodie hurt..and Bowe dropping four passes, one of them in the end zone on that final drive...that hurt too. I was really impressed with Brodie at times....I hate Huard in the game..he can make good throws sometimes..but any time there is pressure, he just falls down automatically. Also...Charles needs to get a lot more touches..LJ shouldn't carry the entire load..he's worn down so badly. Oh well, I was expecting to lose by 21. We were five yards away from tying it up and going to OT. Can't complain too much.

Pats gotta be feeling awful lucky. My Chiefs gave them everything they could handle.
Really? The Patriots potentially lost their All-World QB, reigning MVP, and straight up handsome fella for the entire season. Buuuut they did beat the Chiefs by a touchdown, so I guess they should feel reallllllly lucky today. I see no flaws in that logic.

So..you didn't watch the game?? I said they gotta be feeling lucky to come away with a win..obviously not about Brady. The Chiefs also lost their starting QB, and considering we had 1st and goal in the final minute and dropped a TD pass on 1st down..yeah, I'd say the Pats were lucky to come away with a win. If Bowe catches that pass, which he should've, it's a tie game and who knows what happens. The Pats were fortunate to escape today's game with a win.

10-6 is wildly optimistic. If Brady is hurt, I will be happy to bet you the Pats dont win ten games. Maybe 200 bucks?

Not that it matters, but no you didn't. Also in the department of not that it matters, the difference between Brady and Cassel is quite a bit larger than the difference between Croyle and Huard.I wasn't attempting to pick a fight here, I was simply pointing out that your statement and timing look ridiculous.

Make it $100 and we can book it.It's kinda nice to be the underdog again. The Patriots made their living as underdogs until last year.

consider it booked (assuming Brady really is done for the year). I do my transferring on Full Tilt if that is ok. Or we can use a bonder. Up to you.

Ok, I have the Patriots winning 10 or more games this year without further help from Brady. If he comes back during the regular season and the Patriots already have 10 wins before he plays, the bet is still on. If he comes back during the regular season and plays before the Patriots win their 10th game the bet is off (unless they still don't win 10 games).Right now I only have money on Stars and Cake, but it shouldn't be a problem getting $100 on FT to ship to you if/when they lose 7 if that's where you want it. I don't mind getting paid on FT.

I said the Pats should be feeling lucky immediately after the end of the game. How is that ridiculous timing??? You're the one posting hours after my post talking about something that wasn't known at the time I posted it. You aren't attempting to pick a fight? You sure do go about not picking fights funny. Nobody knew how long Brady would be out for. I was obviously not saying the Pats were lucky that Tom Brady got hurt for the entire season. Come on, perhaps you should use a little common sense. I said MINUTES AFTER THE GAME ENDED that they should be feeling lucky..and then made another comment specifically about the game. It was a true statement and you're apparently the only person who thinks I was talking about Tom Brady getting hurt.

I gotta agree with Kow here, he clearly was talking about the game and the last minute events (dammit Bowe, I had you on two fantasy teams!!!). After Brady went down the Pats never dominated and almost went to overtime if not for butterfingers Bowe. What is so hard to comprehend about that?
