opie 0
Reads:BB is a very good player - aggressive, mixes up his game wellButton is a donkey - slowly loosing all his money to BB (I was breaking even), calls too much, bluffs too much, plays too many hands (actually - plays MOST hands).Prima Poker skinLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $2/$46 playersConverterPre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with Q Q 3 folds, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, Button calls.Flop: 5 5 T (5.5SB, 3 players)Hero bets, BB raises, Button 3-bets, Hero calls, BB calls.I wasn't scared of BB with that flop - if button folds, I definitely reraise him. But the donkey on the button could be playing anything - including having some 5. Would he try to bluff two opponents who have both raised? So I panic a bit and call. I'm sure that was a mistake. But given I made that mistake, how bad did I screw up the rest of the hand?Turn: 9 (7.25BB, 3 players)Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets, Hero calls, BB calls. The turn has a third club. Suited cards is definitely something BB could be playing. Now I'm scared of him too. And donkey will still be acting like he has the 5. I'm confused and go into call down mode.River: J (10.25BB, 3 players)Hero checks, BB checks, Button checks. Results:Final pot: 10.25BB
Sheiky 0
I don't know why you think you messed this up, because i think you played this fine.
Zach6668 513
Kinda gross spot on the flop.I don't hate a cap, but I don't mind the way you played it.NH imo.
KoRnholio 2
Lead or check-raise the turn. Our hand is still best nearly always, and our Q high flush redraw usually helps if we are behind somehow. Button has Tx here most of the time.
CoranMoran 0
I see very little reason not to cap this flop.Gaining an extra bet from two opponents when we are very likely ahead is how we make money.I then lead the flop with my overpair and Q-high Flush Draw. And call down after any raise.--CM
looshle 6
lead turn and river please, you have way too much equity to slow down
Mattnxtc 0
With your read on the button being spewy I think a strong case could be made for capping the flop to get the pot heads up.Capping defines the buttons hand somewhat more and allows you to make easier decisions. With your read on the button being spewy I think a strong case could be made for capping the flop to get the pot heads up. He's not making the button fold here, so the only other person he could aim to knock out is the BB who would be faced with two cold.
Zach6668 513
Eh, I missed that post.Either way, we're not trying to fold him, although it wouldn't be a completely awful result. He probably has 2-5 outs if he doesn't have the 5.
